So...

I've made up my mind and bought my petty self a PSP 3000...

Consider downloading a game was my first choice, but now since its deemed "unhackable", UMDs are my only option.

In my place, UMDs are like RM150++plus. Like I said, petty. So that means I have no much than RM100 up my sleeve. My dad will top me up a 100 more.

So, this is my chance to buy a best buy game. Searched the Internet but no games best buys for me. I need your guys help.

Some recomendations please...

Your help is much apreciated.

Lol, at this site, filled with Nintendo fanboys?

If you like action RPGs, try out Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII or Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology. In the future, we have Final Fantasy Agito XIII coming out, and Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep; you might wanna watch out for those.

For strategy RPGs, Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions is a definite must get. Jeanne D'Arc is also good, and there's always Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness, but there's a better version of the game on the DS.

There are very few good turn-based RPGs on the PSP. The best you can get would be Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth, which is the port of the original Playstation game.

For the shooter genre, I seriously have no idea what to get. To me, all shooters are the same. Bang bang bang.

Under action, we've got several, but I can't name them easily. If anything, try Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops. God of War: Chains of Olympus has very high ratings, but that game isn't made for the younger ones. And of course, we have Grand Theft Auto, and for the PSP, it's either Vice City Stories or Liberty City Stories. I haven't played any of these action games, but yeah, all of them are games that come from video game franchises that I like.

I've not played any fighting games. I heard Tekken: Dark Resurrection is good. And for platformers, my friends recommend Daxter. For racing, I've tried out Burnout: Legends, but I don't know whether the other Burnout is better.

I've only played one music game in my entire life, and it's some PSP game called DJMAX Portable 2. It doesn't have a North American release, so you could easily guess, I downloaded it. ;f That's the advantage of the PSP-2000. For now.

BTW, I forgot to tell that I already own Crisis Core.

My friends told me that Burnout was fun on the PS2 as well on the PSP..

How 'bout best multiplayer games like on ad hoc or game share mode?
