I have been playing Volcanion for a long time and now it's time to decide which way to go, I have the option to go with Starmie EVO, or go ahead with Salazzle GX, so in your opinion, which one will do the best in the current format?

When creating a thread in the Deck Garage, make sure that you post one deck per thread, you use the correct prefix, you have the set name/card number next to each card, you give a strategy for non-metagame decks, and give translations for all cards not available in English.

Standard Best way to use Volcanion EX?

I think you are referring to 2 different decks. You seem to be referring to a Ho Oh GX/Salazzle GX deck and a Volcanion EX deck. A Ho Oh GX deck runs like 1 or 2 Volcanion EX, and the goal is to Kiawe onto Ho Oh turn 1. You then attempt to take enough prizes, so that Salazzle become really good. With a Volcanion EX deck your goal is to use baby Volcanion and turbo cards like Max Elixir to get 2 or 3 setup Volcanion EX/Turtonator GX/Ho OH GX. Volcanion decks like that run 3 Volcanion EX. I think they are both very good decks with a lot of potential. We saw a Ho Oh GX/Salazzle GX have a ninth place showing in worlds, so we know it is competitive. I would personally go with a Volcanion EX deck. Here are my lists for both decks.

I'd suggest you also consider a Turtonator-Volcanion deck too. In this particular variant, Turtonator GX is your main attacker.
