Card of the Day: Bianca

This seems like a good trainer if you have alot of discarding trainers. I wish I had more than 1 RH 1.-_-

Bianca is certainly an interesting card. It's one of the few straight draw trainers we have in the format.

The thing about it is that if you have less than four cards in your hand, playing an Oak's or Juniper would probably be more beneficial. And if you have 4+ cards, a Cheren or something of the sort would probably be a better play.

That being said, there are certainly situations where Bianca has its uses. If you have a small hand and you're looking for a Junk Arm and an energy and you already have the Junk Arm, you probably don't want to shuffle your hand away. Bianca gives you better chances of hitting what you need if you already have parts of it.

Furthermore, in a BW-on format where there are only four draw supporters, Bianca will very likely have a chance to shine. Especially in decks that don't like discarding with Juniper.

This card will in most decks replace PONT as the draw support.

The format will become a lot more slower and hence Bianca will be vital draw power. Not to mention that Ultra ball will become very prominent next season and hence will give Bianca a better platform after the rotation.

Yeah, Bianca needs some situations to be really useful but in the right builds it is very easy to fall into those situations.
For example, if I had a Juniper and a Bianca in my hand that would be much better than if I had 2 Juniper.

I have liked it when I've used it, but chose to cut it during first BRs. Shouldn't have. But when you need resources in hand alongside the ones you have, it's very strong.

Like just about everyone else has been saying, She's a superb Supporter if you've got a piece of a bigger Combo in your hand! Still though, A supremely-built deck with plenty of consistency shouldn't have to worry about the small discard with Juniper. Chances are, you'll draw into another copy of the card you discarded! I surely recommend it IRL, though, if you lack enough copies of vital cards your deck needs to be more consistent. Even with a supremely consistent Deck, Bianca could really help if you only have one card in your hand that's a piece of a combo. I think that situation is really rare, though!
