/me can has originality.
So with my Nuzlocke finished, and my gameboy dusted off, I was looking for a new challenge with Pokemon. Something different, but something that will get me comments (where my N run ultimately failed).
The result was a pick my team run. You, the readers, will pick my team. While normally you'd post a Pokemon, and the first six get a spot on the team. I'm doing this a bit differently, with a poll. 20 Pokemon will be listed in the poll, and the top 6 get to be on the team. There's a twist though, a challenge that I'm adding, and you'll see in the rules.
Rules
Sounds complicated, with lots of words. But its really simple. You guys vote, I catch the popular stuff, and nickname them after you. If you die, you get replaced. After 20 deaths, the game is over, as I'll be out of Pokemon.
There were a lot of voters; I counted 26. Thank you everyone for voting.
Episode 1: Kentucky Fried Torchic
Episode 2: You know, I think her name should be Rocksanne, if they wanted to be punny.
Episode 3: Hard
Episode 4: Afro is hard
Episode 5: I almost called this Episode 7. trolololol
Episode 6: Not Enough Moon Stones
So after grinding my whole team up to Level 35, I'm ready to continue. I'm off to Fortree City.
I encounter Steven for the second time. He wants to see us again, but I doubt it with the way things are going. >.<
While making my way through the trainers, I lose Jigglypuff (Yoshidude) to a Roselia. Awesome, more deaths.... I guess I know who I'm using my Moon Stone on.
Team Aqua is blocking the path to Fortree City, and they're telling me not to go in the Weather Institute. Guess where we're going? The weather institute.
Team Aqua has taken everyone, except for a little boy, and they want Castform. Oh no, not Castform! We gotta stop them. I'm introduced to Aqua's second Admin, Shelly. She'll be a piece of cake.
So I evolve Skitty (BrOkenICE) now. Its a shame Delcatty's stats suck, but then again, Wigglytuff's do too. We battle May, but Delcatty (BrOkenICE) sweeps the team. And I was surprised.
Fortree City is the awesome-est place ever. Who doesn't want to live in a treehouse? Uncool people, that's who. But there's an invisible force blocking our way to the gym! This is terrible!
So I guess the only option is to leave Fortree City, and see what else comes our way. There's a lot of invisible forces blocking the way, which is sad. Very sad. I want that item! But Steven gives us an item that lets us see the invisible force! le gasp.
I want to do a bit more exploring before I challenge Winona. Delcatty (BrOkenICE) dies to a Milotic's Water Pulse... This is just peachy. >.<
At this point, I don't care about exploring. I just wanna beat the gym. Winona's team is certainly easier than Normans. This should be a nice break. Winona's Swellow and Skarmory are all 2HKOed by Sharpedo (Tyraniking)'s Surf, while Pelliper is 2HKOed by Crunch. So all we got left is Altaria, who is 2HKOed by a Psychic from Gardevoir (Afro-G). That was easy.
I'm off to Mt. Pyre now, since Team Aqua said that they were going there. The outside music is one of my favorites. I've got it on my 3DS . Aqua's trainers are at the top, so I'm gonna beat more of them. I get the Blue Orb, because Archie as the Red Orb. I guess that makes sense.
May is in Lilycove City, so we might as well battle her. She goes down easily. Then I realize, I only have four Pokemon in my party. Due to the poll results, Snorunt gets one of those spots. Looking at the results, I find that Grimer is next on the list. I'm gonna go catch it, and let you know the results in the next episode.

Rules
- I may only use the Pokemon voted on by the members.
- The members can vote for as many Pokemon as they want.
- All Pokemon must be nicknamed.
- In this case, the theme is PB members again. Whoever votes for the Pokemon gets a chance at being the name of the Pokemon. In fairness, a RNG will be used.
- If something dies, it goes in the dead box.
- Dead Pokemon can't be used ever again. But they are replaced by other Pokemon voted on, with the 7th most popular choice being the first replacement.

Episode 1: Kentucky Fried Torchic
We begin this episode with the obligatory "This is a Pokemon" lecture, and as with Crystal, I spam the A button (like I do in Brawl) to skip through it. Then we appear in the back of a truck. Wow, our parents are cruel. And to top it off, mom never tells us why she did that.
Sapphire was my first game, and I know it like the back of my hand. I've beat it countless times. So this should be a fun run. Lets go change the clock and grab a potion.
DAD IS A CELEBRITY!! But we don't get to watch him on TV, or rather, the sorry excuse for a TV that is. Its just a bunch of pixels the size of my thumbnail (Bippa has small thumbs). Now we get to introduce ourselves to our neighbor, the Birchs. Or is it Birches. I dunno. They have a girl, who's about our age. She looks cute. She tells us that she likes Pokemon, and a bazillion other things. At least, I think so. I was too busy button mashing through the text.
There's screaming on Route 101. May must have gotten hurt, lets go save her. Wait, what? Its her dad. o.o He's scared...of a Poochyena. Wow, he must suck as a Pokemon trainer. Lets save him. Lets fry him up with some Torchic. Poochyena is Hoenn's version of Purrloin, meaning that it fails. HARD (Afro: :3).It's 3HKOed by Torchic, then I get to nickname Torchic. The RNG "g"s 21, who is xdogking this time around.
May's gonna teach us how to become a trainer! YAY! But we already learned about training in Johto, so this should be easy. Or maybe not, with Hoenn's level curve. Its a simple task to reach May, with xdogking (Torchic) gaining 2 levels along the way. xdogking (Torchic) scratches May's Mudkip's eyes out. Now we get a PokeDex. Yay! Yay for more yays!
We get some running shoes. inb4 YAY! YAY! I missed them from Johto. On Route 103, we're looking for two Pokemon: Lotad and Ralts. While this run does have the Nuzlocke perma-death rule, I'm not limited to the first encounter. Which is good. Ralts' family scored second on the poll, with 11 votes, while Lotad's family scored 5th, with 9 votes. Lotad is found, and it is caught. This time, the RNG "g"ed safariblade out of all the Lotad voters. Ralts is caught soon, and to my surprise, its a SHINY! One of my favorite Pokemon, and its shiny. How awesome is that? Very. Who gets the honor of being this Shiny Ralts? Why, its none other than Afro-G, so sayeth the RNG.
The trainers on Route 103 are very easy. We reach Petalburg City. Next time, we'll be going through more of the game. Go figure.

Episode 2: You know, I think her name should be Rocksanne, if they wanted to be punny.
We begin this episode by going into the gym, because an annoying little kid won't let us get any further. Yeah, this is when we learn about gyms and how to catch Pokemon. Nay I say, I don't want to learn more!
So Wally is this sick little boy who wants a Pokemon. He gets Ralts. But mine is shiny, so its better. After a small tutorial, and a short journey through Route 104, we're in Petalburg Woods. Team Aqua is destroying the forest, and we need to stop him before the Silcoon population goes extinct! Well, not really. Aqua's just stealing stuff, and being bad, and stuff like that. But we still should beat them, because the game won't let us continue otherwise.
We get a Great Ball as our reward. Now lets get outta this forest. With us in Rustboro City, its time to take on the gym. After I do a little bit of grinding, that is. During that grinding session, Xdogking (Torchic) evolves into a Cumbusken, and safariblade (Lotad) evolves into a Lombre.
Against Roxanne, Lombre is easily the best choice. She has a lot of potions. That's good though, because otherwise, she'd be too easy. They each would normally go down in two Absorbs each, but the Potions stall it out into 3 for Geodude and 6 for Nosepass. Nothing challenging though.
Once we get out of the gym, a scream is heard "LET GO OF MY GOODS!". I can't help but laugh before we do any (hard) investigating. The only real option is to got to Route 116. The goods have been taken, and so has Peeko. Oh no! Now we have to rescue a bird. A bird that doesn't have a punny name. Whatever will we do?
After the Aqua Grunt is defeated, we get charged with the task of delivering a letter, and some goods. So, letsa go. Our sidekick is Mr. Briney, who will help us along this trip.
/me attempts to mock the scene when a party member joins the party in Paper Mario.
Man, I do love "I'm on a boat". Now we need to catch a new teammate, a Zubat. to Granite Cave! Its the first encounter. The RNG "g"s the name dmaster to which I find funny. Its pretty easy to see why though. Haha
Again, I grind up some hamburger with this team so that we're prepared to take down Brawly and Wattson in the next Episode. The new teammate, Kirlia, enjoys the hamburger the most. I think I'm updating a bit too frequently though. So, you guys need to comment more.

Press A while standing next to Mr. Briney, and Mr. Briney will talk to you. Press A again to skip through his dialogue boxes. When he gives you an option, use the Control Pad to select where you would like to visit. Afterwards, press the Left Trigger to to sing "I'm on a boat". For those playing this on a Gameboy, the Left Trigger is not available.

Episode 3: Hard
Lets go take down Brawly. With Afro-G (Kirlia) and Zubat (dmaster), he shouldn't be too hard. I like how only one trainer is required to get to Brawly, and she's easy. Hopefully Brawly is too.
Brawly seems to have an infinite supply of potions, but Machop is 2HKOed by Confusion. He doesn't use any on Makuhita who dies fast as a result. WE GOT ANOTHER GYM BADGE!! We're awesome!
Granite Cave is an easy dungeon to get through without Flash. I find Steven with no effort, and get Steel Wing as my present. The first thing I like to do in Slateport City is to get my 6 cans of soda pop. I'm not a fan of Pepsi, Coke and the like, but my Pokemon love them.
With my collection of Soda Pop, Route 110 is the next destination. I get my Electrike, and the RNG christens it Darkvoid57. Jalapeno beans. He'll have fun pwning all the little tubers that might have tuberculosis from being glued to their tubes.
Now we finally go deliver the goods, and we can go thrash Team Aqua again. They're easy, as usual. Archie sounds threatening, but he's not worth worrying about. Moar exploring, gogogo.
When I first played Sapphire, I found the second May battle hard. Like, I almost restarted because I couldn't win. Like, I had no money after I beat her because I was in debt to the white out guy. So yeah, this battle has been hard for me. Shroomish's spores prove to be annoying for dmaster (Zubat), but Xdogking (Combusken) roasts the mushroom. Marshtomp proves to be a Challenge, and I lose dmaster (Zubat) as a result. I have three options now; Poochyena, Whismur or Snorunt. I'm not waiting for Snorunt, and I don't want Whismur's long term suckage, so I'm using Mightyena who has short term suckage and works well as Canon fodder. Who gets to be this wonderful dog? Why, its none other than...
Now we get to go back to catch this thing, which is awesome... I hope he likes hamburger meat, because he'll be grinding for a looong time. After not much of a challenge, and many near death experiences, Poochyena (sillykyle!) evolves into a big Mightyena and Mauville City is explored. I go beat Wally, who dies in one Bite from Mightyena (sillykyle!). Maybe he'll stick around after all. Or not... He died in my gym preparation. He really doesn't last long in these things. I really don't want a Whismur right now, so I'll get it later. Episode ends now.

Episode 4: Afro is hard
What do you think about taking down a gym? I think its a good idea.
When I first played Sapphire, I found Wattson hard. But that was when I challenged it with just my Lv. 21 Torchic and my Lv. 17 Lombre. This should be much better than that. Magnemite dies on one round of Double Kick (so two kicks), and Voltorb... kills itself. Well, this is shaping up to be an easy battle.
Magneton, on the other hand, proves to be very resilient. Sonicboom is a 3HKO on all but xdogking (Combusken), so its my main counter to the three magnets. It would be 2HKOed by Ember, but Wattson loves his Super Potions and the battle is extended by a fairly significant margin. Now right now, we need to go on a trip to find me a Swablu, because that's what I need to find next. So yeah, jump in this fancy teleporter until we reach the route where Swablu is (I don't know the number).
Hope you liked the teleporter ride. Swablu is found, and the RNG calls it Hatman. Cool stuff. Now we're given the task to level it up. Fun, especially since its stuck with Astonish and Peck as its only offensive moves. Just awesome...
In Meteor Falls, Team Aqua appears to be harassing an old man. Or is it just someone in a lab coat. I dunno. But Team Magma saves the day and keeps them away. It sounds like they have their own evil intentions too though. Oh no, the meteorite has been stolen. We must save the day. After I get my peach tea though.
/me lieks peach tea.
/me just notice that he switches from "I" to "we" a lot
/me doesn't care about the above
After a long adventure through Meteor Falls, we find ourselves in Rusturf Tunnel. We smash a rock, and the young couple screams with joy. Yes,we[/]s I am that awesome. In this tunnel, I mind as well go catch a Whismur since I'm here. The RNG dubs it as Guy89, so that's my Whismur's name. Jalapeno beans. He'll get to sit in the day care with a random Kecleon while I ride my bike back and forth. Kinda like that dumb song about waving hair back and forth. Anyways, Guy comes out at many levels later; I evolve him into Loudred at his next level, and we're good. Now we're gonna go climb a mountain.
The Mt. Chimney music... One of my favorite tracks in the game. Oh, I love it. Electrike (Darkvoid57) manages to sweep through all the Zubats and Carvanhas, while having no trouble against the Poochyenas. He should be able to defeat Archie just fine.
I always find Archie hard. Even on normal runs, he manages to sweep my team. Even with my new Gardevoir (Afro-G), I don't think this'll be an easy battle. But my new Manectric (Darkvoid57) should (Yes, I did do some grinding before this battle. Sue me). I skip through Archie's long text about destroying the world. Its go time, now.
Mightyena is a bit of a problem for Manectric (Darkvoid57), but its not too much for him to handle. Golbat and Sharpedo are jokes though. Hooray for my first easy win against Archie.
Down Jagged Pass in Lavaridge Town is where this episode will end off. See ya later.

Episode 5: I almost called this Episode 7. trolololol
So in Lavaridge town, the only point of interest is the Gym. So let's a go.
My Water-type, Lombre (Safariblade) lacks any Water- moves, so this gym will be kind of tough. I'm relying on Gardevoir (Afro-G) to take me through. Both of Flannery's Slugmas are OHKOed by Psychic, so this becomes a 6-1 match. Lets see if Gardevoir (Afro-G) can handle Torkoal. I use Calm Mind to weaken the Overheat, which Torkoal proceeds to use. Then I Calm Mind again, and I'm hit by Attract. Then on the next turn, I get paralyzed by Body Slam. This is awesome. Gardevoir (Afro-G) breaks through the hax, and the battle is won. Cool.
*to the tune of Follow the Yellow Brick road* Follow the path. Follow the long path to Petalburg City. Hoenn is a long loop. Hoenn is a bunch of long loops. Bippa hasn't heard of Follow the Yellow Brick road. He's just making this up.
I consider Norman to be one of the hardest gym leaders in the Pokemon series. Slaking hits with such tremendous power that the battle can be lost in few turns. I'm kinda prepared for this run to end here, because I don't know if I'll come out alive. I love how the gym trainers use weak stuff like Delcatty and Linoone. Combusken (xdogking) thrashes them with a Double Kick before they can respond. I'm in Norman's room now, so lets do this.
/me gulps
Slaking is 2HKOed by Double Kick. But I need to heal it fast. Loudred (Guy89) ends up being the sacrifice to do so. But at least he takes down a Slaking with him. The next Slaking comes out, and Guy89 perishes. Combusken (xdogking) comes back out. Norman's great at playing mindgames, and manages to trick me into healing while he charges a Focus Punch (yes, I apparently fail that much), and Combusken (xdogking) falls. ;_; Gardevoir (Afro-G) avenges the death, and the Slaking goes down without a fight. With Vigoroth, I decide to be a nub and Double Team spam with Gardevoir (Afro-G). But he gets a critical hit Slash in the process. Gardevoir (Afro-G) stays alive. But I need to heal it. Swablu (Hatman) plays the role of the sacrifice. Swablu doesn't stall for long though, and falls to another critical hit Slash. So I send up Lombre (safariblade) as the final sacrifice, and he succeeds in such. He misses, I get a Calm Mind boost, and Gardeboit (Afro-G) starts trolling. To put salt on Norman's wound, the Psychic is a critical hit.
So to recap, we lost Loudred (Guy90), Combusken (xdogking), Lombre (safariblade) and Swablu (Hatman). This is just awesome... >.< My replacements for them will be a Jigglypuff, a Carvanha. a Shroomish and a Skitty. Carvanha is caught first, because I want it to be. The RNG calls it Tyraniking. Skitty is found next, and its called BrOkenICE. Next I get Jigglypuff, who is called Yoshidude. Finally, Shroomish is caught in Petalburg Woods, and it called Shadow-L.
So with a heavy loss, I need to start training the new guys. See ya.

See ya.
