• When creating a thread in the Deck Garage, make sure that you post one deck per thread, you use the correct prefix, you have the set name/card number next to each card, you give a strategy for non-metagame decks, and give translations for all cards not available in English.

Hey people...so I have decided, with the new rotation coming around, that I'd start playing pokemon again. I am pretty much a noob. Please help me, cuz I am, obviously, still not familiar with the metagame, or even how this deck should work and I need helping making it be best that it can be.
P.S. a friend put this list together for me really quick so its definitely a rough draft. Thanks, and yeah...heres the deck.

4x Zekrom
4x Pachirisu
2-3x Shaymin
2x Zoroark
2x Zorua

4x Pokémon Collector
4x PONT
3x Pokémon Communication
3x Super Scoop Up
2-3x Dual Ball

Your friend has a good basic list which should do fairly well by itself. Now just make personal changes. Like for me I prefer to have 3 collector and 4 dualball and I like unkown DARK and 2 dark energys just incase Im short by one energy. You might also consider adding juniper for more draw power and some people like to run Yanmega prime but then you have to run judge or copycat.
Anyways that just my two cents.

Thanks for the advice. I actually thought about adding a couple of junipers along with 1-2x unknown Dark and 1 Dark Energy considering all of the recovery I have. I don't know bout yanmega Prime yet, due to the fact that he takes to much space and really alters the deck quite a bit. What do u think I should do about the cards like shaymin and dual ball, in terms of whats a solid count like 3 shaymin and 3 Dual Ball or 4 shaymin and 2 Dual Ball??
