Blastgatr Md-on (Seniors/Masters)

This is my little brother's Blastgatr deck with a Lanturn twist. The problem is it isn't setting up fast enough or really at all sometimes. I feel like the Pokemon to trainer/supporter to energy ration might be off. We'd really like some suggestions before we take it to battle roads in a week.

The strategy is to set up Feraligatr first asap and then use his power to attach lots of energy to Lanturn or Blastoise (whichever is available) to hit for massive damage.

Also, this will be our first tournament, so I'm not familiar with everything. He was born in 1997. Does that put him in the senior or masters division?

The problem in this deck is that you don't run enough of your preffered starter. Spiritomb is best, so you need to max it out, and find room for 1 Unown Q. So, to begin:

- 1 Zekrom(completely unnecessary)
- 1 Manaphy UL(Spiritomb is better for this deck)
- 1 Smeargle UD/CoL(^)
- 1 Electric Energy
- 1 IQ(this is a sub-par card; there are better options)

+4 Spiritomb AR
+ 1 Unown Q

You also need at least 3 Broken Time-Space. So:

- 3 IQ

+ 2 BTS
+ 1 Uxie LA

You'll need another Uxie, 2/3 Bebe's Search, some Seeker/SSU, and a Blastiose PL and Squirtle, because of Blastoise's useful Power. So, I suggest:

- 1 Professor Elm(better cards)
- 1 Twins(not-so-great for Blastgatr)
- 2 Switch(Warp Point is better)
- 3 Water Energy(9 is enough)

+ 1 Uxie LA
+ 1-0-1 Blastiose PL
+ 2 Bebe's Search
+ 2 Seeker/SSU

You may want to find room for another Rescue, but these changes should make your deck much more fast and consistent.
