Bleach: Anime Vs. Manga?

Well recently i have been watching Bleach and im about to catch up on Hulu's current episode's. And thus i have come to a fork in the road (more of a decision than a fork, but forks are nice to). Anyway im thinking i have to decide between dealing with fan sites or reading the manga. Normally i would just do both but to my knowledge the manga and the anime are slightly different. So basically my questions are, one whats the difference between the two, two(equals four, lol) if the differences are large enough that i should probably read all the manga to understand i would like to know if it worth going through 350+ chapters just to get ahead of the show, three is it worth dealing with all the horrible fan sites? And if so what is the best website to watch it on? Thanks in advance.

The Bount saga doesn't occur in magna. I have been watching it on CN.

I understand that. The Bount arc is a filler. I just wonder if there are actual differences to the story line between the two.

In the first arc there was just minor differences, as far as I noticed. I haven't started to read the Arrancar.

there is a big difference between the two. i am an otaku and i specialize in bleach both manga and anime.

the anime now contains a lot of filler and cuts down some of the parts in the manga. like for an exmaple the bounto arc. it didnt occured in the manga yet it was seen in the anime next is the new 3rd div. capt.*amagai shuske* arc which was a filler too and lastly the zanpakuto arc which is by far the most cool filler yet the most annoying as it run for so long in the anime.

fillers can deeply somehow change the story goes like for example if you would like to compare the reasons of mayuri to uryuu in the anime to manga they are completely diff. in the anime, mayuri; in that time saved renji and ishida in the hands of szayel mayuri said there that he implanted something on ishida which happend during the bounto arc *a filler* however in the anime, mayuris reason was that he implanted something on ishida when they battled. so they make the route of the story in diff. ways.

there are also alot of instances like that that happen i just cant remember them. but to say in general the main story line doesnt change in the anime, i mean they are still aligned but the fillers are causing bleach fans to rely much on manga as the manga is the original story of kubo.

ahuh .. but of course it depends if your patient to catch up with the manga .. may i ask what part are you watching now?! so i may suggest..

Only like 111 in the anime. So i am not that far at all actually. I have only been watching since early Febuary.

episode 111 huh ... hhmm i suggest you start reading the manga now. episode 111 i think its the last episodes of the bounto arc and the beginning of a new filler so i think reading is the best there are actually pros. and cons. of both manga and anime

pros of manga >> original and updated
cons of manga >> doesnt have color plus it lessens the action as they are only colorless drawings

pros of anime >> has color which makes anime more alive and you can watch the battle in HQ
cons of anime >> not original and is full of filler

your call .. but if your really in to it like me do both. but what is best is that read the manga and do watch the episodes that are worth watching for you have got a long count of episodes to watch out for *100 plus* and manga aswell so better start rolling.

None the less, Bleach has very good fillers. The Bount arc added a much needed level of character to Ishida. Also, the voices are almost all dead-on. Plus, the action scenes are very nice.

The manga... is ahead of the anime.

Needless to say, I'd go for the anime. :)

I've been reading the Bleach manga lately and it's gotten pretty good so far, can't wait for the next chapter. :D

The Anime's still in fillers, only part of the Shonen Trinity that isn't is One Piece at the moment. In terms of manga it really seems like both Bleach and Naruto are close to ending while One Piece is still continuing in the middle of an epic arc.

If there's one Shonen series that'll probably reach to 1,000 manga chapters it's One Piece cause Eiichiro Oda is amazing.

Do both. Read Manga and watch Anime. You learn a lot from comparing them!
