Are these any good? I noticed they only come in packs of 50, which is totally stupid. Anyways, I was just asking are there any problems with these sleeves such as ripping or breaking?

yea, but why waste money and buy 2 packs of sleeves...when you can just go buy a nice pack of jap sleeves or PR sleeves that already have 60 to the pack...most of which you can find on ebay in stores and auctions...or you can just type a search in google or yahoo and find a shop online to buy them from

Thanks, I bought some cards on ebay and apparently the seller hated these sleeves because he sent the cards in them. They were white sided, so I just bought a pack with white edges. The color thing isn't an issue, the thing I'm worried about is peeling/breaking/splitting and how durable they are. Thanks for your input guys.
But the prerelease sleeves SUCK hardcore. I played MAYBE 10 games with my SV PR sleeves and...started peeling...horribly.

^The pre-release ones do suck, but the Sv ones are the ABSOLUTE worst ever. The Dp ones were the best, and the Dusknoir ones were pretty decent. But the SV ones...I got 4 packs of them and i've had to borrow some at tournaments (3+ full packs have split to the point I'd be disqualified...in 3 BRs and 3 leagues).

we've already gone over how bad the SV PR sleeves are...but the DP, LA, PT, RR, & PA one are pretty good...the SF ones are ok, mine look a lil' shabby, but it could've been something else other than the sleeves fault
as far as the quality of the Regi UP(Ultra-Pro) Sleeves...I don't really know, there was one person at one of my league stores that had them not long after they were released, and in about a week they stopped playing with them...and everybody else there and at my other league store just avoids them like the plauge

I actually found the Platinum sleeves to be terrible quality. And to everyone saying it's annoying to buy 2 packs of 50 sleeves, well here's a purpose for the 40 extra sleeves: bring them to a prerelease and put your prerelease deck in them so that you don't have to get either your new sleeves or your new cards ruined already. And I just don't open my PR sleeves until there's a tournament, because I don't want to wreck my sleeves and have to buy new ones at a tournament because the TO said they weren't ok. I just use different sleeves like the plain color Ultra Pro ones at league and then the night before a tourney I put my deck in 60 fresh untouched sleeves so my deck's good to go.

I tend to go to 2-3 PR's so I never really have that problem, as I just open the pack of sleeves from the 1st one I got to, and then use those same sleeves throughout the other 2...so I 2 fresh unopened packs...and the only sleeves I ever had a problem ruining were the SV ones, the corners just started peeling like crazy...the PT ones, I've never had a problem with, but I will admit the quality is about the same as the SF ones, and those aren't the best quality wise of the PR sleeves...but they are loads better than the SV's
the only Ultra-Pro sleeves that I really like aren't allowed to be played in tournaments...and once I sleeve a deck, it will stay in those sleeves until I find sleeves that better identify with the deck or until I stop running the deck and take it apart
The Arceus ones, tbh/imo, are the best sleeves out there. I have had them now since October 30th, and I shuffle pretty thorough, and when I bridge shuffle, my SV ones rip, but these have never ripped a corner. These sleeves are in near perfect condition. PA are the best sleeves I think, but the DP ones are not far behind, and so are the sleeves w/ Empoleon Infernape and Torterra on them(if these are the DP sleeves, Lucario sleeves are also pretty good) so yeah. But you should never buy these. Buy the dragon sleeves, you get 100, AND a deck box, AND the sleeves are good quality AND they hold up really nice.

And I have the SV sleeves but have actually never used them. I guess I won't bother, if they are that bad. And for some odd reason, seeing the green scratch way too easily and are slippery(good for shuffling though), the red standard ultra pro sleeves have been rather durable for me, providing I'm careful.

I think these sleeves are decent quality, and they're similar to DP prerelease sleeves. They are pretty much the same with those Ape/Terra/Empo sleeves with the silhouettes of Dialga, Palkia, etc. at the bottom.

well, there are at least 2 shops in my area that hold PR's...and they are less than 40mins apart driving wise...one of which is one of my league stores that is less than 5 mins from where I am currently residing, the other is about 15 mins away from the other league store I go to...plus we will probably be getting PR's at that store as well...the last PR I usually go to is about a 3hr drive from here, but I usually accompany the head judge of this area to that locale in order to keep him company during the drive there and awake during the drive back
however, I can understand the money thing, as far as parents go that is...being an adult does have it's benefits in that aspect
