booster box prices. etc ???

ok , ive seen many treads about booster boxes and am sorry if your really getting tired of them, i just really want a booster box and a good deal too. so im thinking ifds, possibly gc, my questions:

1) ive heard ebay is a good place to purchase, is there anything better?

2) i don't know what is considered a good price , what is it in US dollars?

3) what is the average amount of lv.x's, shinnies , ultra rares i could expect from a japanese booster box?

4) what is the best way to search for online? what words should i type in ? ive noticed that wording seems important to get the best results on these things

You can get boxes from your local pre-releases for $72 plus tax, they don't do it normally, but when they do it cost that much.

A decent price is around 90 bucks if you don't want to go through shipping or handling, but whole sale price goes around 85, depending on set.
 
im almost sure i want a japanese one and heard they are cheaper. about how much is the diffrence in price as compared to english sets... i kind of need the best deal , the more i spend the angrier my family gets. its annoying.

I know the first three questions have been discussed within the first 5 (maybe ten) pages of this forum. Here are a few I found for you:

If you want SF, here is what I would do. Go onto ebay and type in 'DP6 booster box'.

When the seller 'paper moon Japan' pops up, buy the box for 61 USD.

You get 200 cards with 2 guarenteed LV X's and 3 shinies/charmander line.
 
well thanks for the help , i found some more boxes on ebay now . i hadn't bothered trying to just put dp6 instead of spelling the whole set name out. now im actually getting results. lol. i have never bought a booster box and keep on coming across ifds boxes going for around $80 dollars with shipping and everything included . is that pretty much the best price i could expect to pay?

thanks , these links actually do work. problem though, can't understand half of the stuff. lol. they all seem to be around $80 dollars with shipping and everything though. i guess i just have to decide between gc or ifds.


..final questions, everything on ebay mentions paypal and i barely even know anything about it . if anybody knows, these are my questions :

1)what exactly is paypal ?

2)is it a service, is it free to use ?

Wrong sir! it would be 220 cards. (20 basic energy cards)

1) I believe paypal is a service where you can set-up your banking account with it , for you can buy online and not use credit-cards.

2) I'm not sure , but I think it is free

You'll need your parents to help set this up anyways. They'll be the ones that will need to register for eBay and Paypal, and will want to gather that information themselves rather than from a Pokemon forum.

well my parents don't understand anything , Specially anything dealing with computers. they kind of were forced to drop out of school before they even reached the 3rd grade to help raise there siblings . if we need anything we usually have to guide them trough the whole process, or even do everything ourselves. im not exactly 13 either , i just haven't bothered to use the internet for shopping.

....I still am somewhat confused about paypal, do you load money on to it with a savings account or credit card, or what?
 
It works through your checkings account I think.
Just go to the paypal website and it should give some infomation on it.
