I'll make this brief.
I open my packs and get nothing. The guy across from me (at the same table as me too, so I could have sat in his seat) pulls 3 FA EX's (one of them being Landorus >:0) and I get the worst pulls in existence, consisting of nearly no competitive cards. I compile my deck, which is a Psychic/Fire deck with Emboar and Scolipede as its strong points.
Round 1 vs. 3 FA EX guy:
x____x. I never had a chance. He get's all three EX's (Celebi, Landorus, White Kyurem) out early and there's not much I can do. I manage to stall for a ridiculous amount of turns with Munna, but eventually he wakes up and sweeps me. My Emboar made a valiant effort and I actually managed to get down to one prize, but Land's Judgement ruined its dreams and I take the R1 loss.
Round 2 vs. Person who has never played before
I use Delibird to get an Emboar out fast, and despite her getting Cresselia EX out at the end of the game, I Fire Blast for 120, then flip heads on Firebreathing to do 70 for the game.
Round 3 vs. Person who was in between the other two people's playing skill
This game starts a lot worse than the other one did. I start Tepig, (my only one which I REALLY didn't want getting KO'd) and she goes first (I went 0-3 for going first x__x). However, she gets an extremely slow start also, and I stall for an insane amount of time with Munna and Croagunk. I once again manage to get Emboar out, and I sweep a good portion of her field until she drops Landorus EX. This would have ended badly, but using my Town Map from earlier I grabbed a Venipede from my prizes, then set up a Scolipede. She can't do much but Hammerhead it, which proceeds to poison it AND take damage from Rocky Helmet. I then KO it with Venoshock.
2-1
I came around 3rd-4th place, and then I get my last few packs and get even worse pulls than I did from the previous six.
Props:
Doing well (in a tournament that doesn't count x____x)
Meeting cool people
Having people admire my Japanese Shiny Charizard
Slops:
Worst pulls ever (not even a single Skyla)
Not having time to stay for the booster draft
