Ruling Bucks Training

Hey, when I play a Bucks Training it says "Active Pokémon's attacks does 10 more damage to the Active Pokémon," does that mean that even if my attack does no damage it will add ten and make the total attack amount ten?

Same question for Plus Power. Does it only add if the initial attack does damage?

Both Buck's Training and Plus Power only add damage if damage is inflicted in the first place.

Yes you can, so if you have four in your hand you can play four.

Anyway, about the original question - Damage increase is only done when there is base damage to increase to begin with. If at any point the calculation of damage hits zero, then nothing is going to happen at all. Knowing that helps understand a lot of cards, really.
