Buy Booster Boxes or Packs on Ebay?

I know theres the issue of packs being weighed and box's seem good cuz they are sealed, packs them self are about 20 plus bucks so would it be better to buy packs as i want or save up and just get a box? Have a collection but am just getting into buying packs and boxs now. Seems really exciting and brings back good memories but its also alot oh money. Please give me your opinion! thanks alot.

The upside of a box is that you're guaranteed some holos, and you'll usually end up with a near-complete set minus the Rares. Downside is that they are expensive and it's often hard to find certain sets in box form. Another upside is if you plan to have them graded, they will typically be in better condition than loose packs.

Upside of buying packs is that it's cheaper if you don't plan to complete the set (otherwise it's more expensive in the long-run), but of course you're not guaranteed holos even if it's a 100% legit unweighed batch of packs.

Personally, I go the packs route, since I don't seek to complete all the older sets. Newer sets, I preorder boxes, which is significantly cheaper overall.
