Camerupt EX

So I've had a look at the new Camerupt EX card and I'm not the greatest of players but could it possibly be run with LT Emboar and the new Silent Lab stadium?

It would easily counter VirGen with the stadium and could get KO's on most cards with 3 fire discards.

Any ideas?

Blacksmith is considered better than Emboar, but maybe you could use both.

Four energy is a hefty cost, and you have to discard a good chunk of it (or from your other Pokemon). Even with Blacksmith in the equation, Reshiram BW / LTR, Pyroar FLF and Charizard-EX (Combustion Blast) are more versatile Fire attackers. There's also that gigantic retreat cost that isn't seen on any of the other cards I mentioned. I don't expect to be seeing much of this card.

I'm convinced Emboar/Superior Energy Retrieval is the better partner because of the unlimited attachment. Blacksmith is better for things which don't need to discard every turn (Charizard EX). Emboar/Camurupt could be the next Rayboar (CamBoar? lol), but it's a little bit better because you only need to worry about 1 energy type.

I actually like the possiblities with this. The only issue I could see with it is that Seismitoad is a double whammy. Quaking Punch would prevent you from playing Superior Energy Retrieval, and as long as the Toad has a Muscle Band it's guarenteed to two-shot Camerrupt. The advantage though is that unlike Rayquaza, the energy to be discarded can come from anywhere, and you don't have to get rid of all of it each time you attack (as long asyou have the four you need to discard to KO Toad). So if you could get 8+ energy attached quickly enough you might be golden. A deck like this would need to run an absurdly high count of Fire energy and draw power / Professor's Letters to get the early game setup it needs, but it could be fun.

Another idea is Malamar EX. You get the energy on him and put opponents to sleep. The energy doesn't go to waste since you can discard from him for Cammie's attack.

Blacksmith wouldn't be a bad 1 of as you could get it back with VS Seeker and use it in emergency situations when Emboar is disabled. I also wonder if Delphox would be worth it, but I think it might be too many stage 2s.

I would only put in 2 Blacksmith, and run 2 VS and a dowsing. Delfox is great when you get it out, but it is really hard with Seis and you have to be careful of your Rare candy count.
