Ruling Can Pokemon EX Be Searched By Pokemon Fan Club?

Im curious if pokemon ex can be searched by pokemon fan club. Are they just considered basic pokemon like a normal one would be?

With the exception of Mega Evolutions, Pokemon-EX are Basic Pokemon. Pokemon Fan Club does not exclude Pokemon-EX from what it can search, so long as you get Basic Pokemon. There are cards such as Wally which cannot target Pokemon-EX, but these cards all say so. Pokemon Fan Club just says two Basic Pokemon- it doesn't matter if they are Pokemon-EX or not.
