Hi im sorry if this is the wrong place to post, but i hope im right. I am trying to find a game for the DS or 3DS. Obviously i love Pokemon, i also like Animal Crossing. I am 25 years old and female. Are there any other girls around my age that like the kind of games i like and can suggest a game that you would think would interest me. Its still so long until Animal Crossing New Leaf will be released here in the US on June 9th and Pokemon X and Y is even longer. I need some kind of other game to get me through that time. I do like RPGs. I dont know. Thanks.

RE: can somebody suggest a game to me?

Ok. I'd HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY reccomend playing the megaman battle network series. In fact, I got a damaged one for trade :D It's to 4th, but their is no real storyline

My sister says she really enjoys Style Savvy Trendsetters, if that type of game interests you. I personally recommend Tales of the Abyss for 3DS. It's a PS2 port, but it's been improved with better loading times and other trivial things. But it really stacks up to make a good RPG great.

I also suggest the Megaman Battle Network series. If you want more modern there is Megaman Starforce.
Legend of Zelda, another good handheld series. If you're into strategy Advanced Wars is a good series.

You play the MMBN series too? Pm me if you want to discuss it.

I'd also reccomend the legendary Pokemon mystery dungeon, explorers of the sky!

I heard the 3DS one is pretty bad.

Aren't you kind of like, advertising a bit too far? I can understand that you probably want to sell the game soon, but there's no need to bring up the fact that you're selling it, unless the thread creator says they're interested. And at that point it would be better taken to PM instead. /rantover

I can second the Explorers of Sky recommendation. The story was actually pretty good if you went in without spoilers, (nothing amazing, but for Pokemon it sure was), the gameplay was great fun, and the game as a whole was very accessible. Unlike the original Mystery Dungeons with the limited item space.

With that being said, if you end up getting and liking Sky, (Red and) Blue was also really good. It just shows its age in comparison since it WAS a GBA game.

Forgot to put it in my other post: Pushmo and Crashmo are really fun Puzzlers. They're both exclusive to the eShop. If you're into Puzzle Games at all then you can't really go wrong with either of them. Pushmo is the simpler of the two, but can still be challenging enough to feel accomplishing. Crashmo, on the other hand, can get devilishly difficult -- real fast. I think Pushmo is $7, and Crashmo is $9. HOWEVER, Crashmo will be on sale for only $6 on the American eShop (not sure about other regions) starting February 21st, this Thursday. If memory recalls, it will last for a week before going back to it's regular price.

I'll see about any other good games once I have access to my 3DS. With such a library built up it's hard to remember games sometimes haha.

Pokemon Conquest for the DS is a nice mix of the Pokemon franchise with some RPG elements (more towards strategy though). Fire Emblem is basically the same thing minus the Pokemon but the production values are so much better on the 3DS version.

dmaster out.

RE: can somebody suggest a game to me?

I second both Fire Emblem and Explorers of Sky (I have yet to try the new 3DS version). They were both games that I wholeheartedly enjoyed and I think you would also find fun :)

Since you liked Animal Crossing, you should check Harvest Moon out. It's a nice relaxing game where you take care of a farm and talk to the town's people, kind of like Animal Crossing. Harvest Moon: Grand Bazaar (DS) and Harvest Moon: A Tale of Two Towns (DS/3DS) are my favorites for the DS.

Another game you should check out, if you can find it, is The World Ends With You (DS). Then again, I recommend this game to everyone. It's a great game.

Look into the Mario & Luigi series. They're basic RPGs with actiony elements and excellent scripts.

Megaman Starforce 1, 2, or 3 are my main recommendations, they're great action RPGs with charming characters and stories. Plus, they're cheap and easy to find.

Wow, thank you guys so much for all the awesome suggestions.

I have Pokemon conquest and I beat the mainstory. I am half way through the post game stories and I am really bored with it.

I was actually looking into the Mystery Dungeon games and I saw that there is a new one coming out for the 3DS on March 24th, so I figured I'd just get that one.

My 3DS came with Super Mario Bros. 3DS and I beat that as well with all three starcoins in every level.

As far as Zelda I only ever owned one Zelda game and it was the one for the N64 and I didn't like that one at all. I think its the same one they just made for the 3DS. However, I have been looking up reviews for Spirit Tracks and I am actually very interested in that one, as of right now I think that's the one I will get.

I had Harvest Moon Tree of Tranquility (I think that's what it was called) for the Wii and I played it for a while but lost interested pretty quick.

Once again thank you guys so much, I'll make sure to look up the other games you suggested. If any of you guys played played The Legend of Zeda: Spirit Tracks, do you think its a good one for someone who never really played any of the Zelda series? Thanks

Spirit Tracks is good, but I'm not sure I would recommend it for a persons first Zelda game, because there are things done differently than in other Zelda's.(no overworld for one thing, you travel around by train)

You should also consider The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass for DS, it's essentially the same thing as Spirit Tracks just more difficult and with a boat. Phantom Hourglass is the better game imo, being less linear and whatnot, but it mostly depends on if you think you can handle the difficulty.

Oh goodness sake, how do I constantly leave Kid Icarus Uprising out of my suggestion posts. CHECK THE GAME OUT. It is like, the next to bestest 3DS game ever (Fire Emblem is competing with the place in my mind), the online is good, and the dialogue witty, all bundled with Sakurai's golden touch. If you don't mind the controls, it's like magic.

I'll recommend Shin Megami Tensei games because I'm a huge fan boy of the series.

I'm assuming you're in the US so you will have no problem getting the Devil Survivor games and Strange Journey. SMT IV has been announced so if you liked the others, keep an eye on that. JP release is May 23rd. New trailer!

Of course then you have your standard Pokemon games. The only reason why anyone buys a DS at first if we're honest.

I personally wouldn't recommend Battle Network but everyone else seems to love it so I won't try to argue against it. However I will against the DS Zeldas. They're just too repetitive and sometimes you just find yourself wanting to play a console Zelda.

The two remade DS Final Fantasies are a good investment too.

Resident Evil Revelations is surprisingly not that bad. You'd expect something really bad and lazy but you will be surprised at how solid the game is.
