It's been a long, dark and cold 4 months when I lost my Pokemon TCG giddiness. Can someone update me on the current format; Tiers, Format, e.t.c?
Thanks for answering!
not much has happened in 4 months.
our last set was a reprint. Call of legends.
only thing new with that was Lost World stadium
Lostgar is now playable
and top tier decks still seem to be the same
vilegar
sp variants
chenlock
gyarados
Well, Lost Worlds have to come from somewhere, and with how bad the rest of the set is, there's going to be artificial rarity and therefore demand for the crappy set. >_>
People also just love those shiny Energies out of CoL, and those really nice shiny Legendaries. Not to mention Ninetales, Smeargle, and Pachirisu. Honestly, CoL isn't such a bad set when you think about it.
^from a collectors stand points its a great set but from a players stand points its horrid. sure you got LW but that is really it. i would just buy singles from this set instead of sift through the worthlessness of 95% of the set....
How is Call of Legends a good set for collectors? It's pretty hard to complete the set when there's 20+ Holos, 10+ Shinys, and incredibly rare reverse holo energies....
I just realized this thread is going kind of off topic so to help a little.
Here are some of the current top decks:
Luxchomp
Dialgachomp
Vilegar
Gyarados
Sableock
Those are pretty much all tier 1/tier 2 decks.
Hope this helps.
^Meh. Lostgar wasn't really what it turned out to be in MA. Otherwise, Dialgachomp and G-Dos were big in my area. I even saw more Mewperior than Lostgar(sillykyle! was one of the only people who played it: he went 2-3).
