Ruling can you search for legend card using pokemon communication

You can search out one half of a Legend with Pokemon Communication, yes.

I'd like to add to dmaster's post. As long as legends are out of play they are just Pokemon. They have no attacks, hp, or retreat. So anything that says search for a Pokemon, not basic or evolution, can search for a legend piece.
