regionals 08 first year of competetive play i was playing gg with 2 dre 3 scramble no claydol at one point i was 3-2 and was debating about dropping i decided to play it on. last round mirrior the first 20 minutes we where exchangeing prizes the last 5 minutes it was 1-1 he had gallade 60 damage i wasn`t under the lock use cressila x moved counter to gallade gardix bring down game i still have that gardi x
 
Some guy in the BR fall last year played a really annoying Lumineon SF deck with Bucks and Pluspower. He was hitting like 60 damage and that extra effect every turn where you
'Prevent all effects on an attack, including damage done to Lumineon during your opponents next turn.'
Yeah, after the tournament I traded the card off him.
 
i won my first cities with kricketune against weavile/honchy hand control and i still have the sleeves and all 4 of my kricketunes.
 
Hmm...I change my decks more than my soxx xD So yeah, almost every card was gone and come back from somewhere else. But I still have my purple sleeves from like 1,5 year ago. They rock :D
 
Hmm, not a card but still. I have the first 40 sleeves I've ever gotten from my first Prerelease about three years ago. I never use them as well.

Gengar LM and Seaking DX. First year of competitive play at Nationals, a terrible deck. No Rare Candy, no Holon Transceivers and stuff, just the basics: Celio's, Potions, blah blah blah. I ran 4-3-3 Gengar, and 3-3 Seaking DX. I was up against a Mew ex LM deck, who used Status Conditions attacks from his own Jynx UF. It was hilarious! My Gengar sat there as my Active and just spread damage around. If I got Burned, I never took damage. But if I did, I would play Curse Powder to abuse Gengar's already annoying PokePower. I just slammed the Bench the whole time, and although he did have the "OMGZ THEY HAVEZ 4 MEW EXZ" sitting on his Bench, I got lucky. Pulled the Switch/Warp Point when I needed it. I flipped heads when I used Haunter LM's Time Spiral to get rid of the Jynx. Life was great. Then, after I won, I pulled the Mew HP boxtopper, he got a Natu UF.

FTW. I have those Gengar, and I have those Seaking. I left with a 3-5 record with those bad boys, but that match was my favorite of all time. :p

Also Zapdos EX... got me my first top cut in a big modified tournament.

pidgeot from fire red, leaf green, my favorite card ever, won alot of tornaments with my 1-0-1 of this card, still have the pigey and pidgeot

It's Slowpoke the way he should be. It's Sabrina. What's not to like? I remember getting this from a pack and it reminded me of being stuck in the Pokemon Blue game for quite a few hours in Saffron City, lol.
 
Shining Charizard from Neo Destiny. Back then, I thought pulling Charizard meant the credits started rolling because you just won the TCG.
 
Hmm....weeelllll....I have two:

Rayquaza EX- while I've been collecting cards since I was 4(Buying them from garage sales) My first purchased and sealed pack of cards contained a Rayquaza EX. I actually didn't know it was rare, I really just threw it to the side.(I still have it though!)

Ancient Mew: I love Mew, and my friend had an Ancient Mew card when I was younger. Even though she was getting rid of her cards, she wouldn't let me have it(and she could've cared less about Ancient Mew, some friend she was...) Later, when I was 7, I got one at a garage sale for 15 cents. I loved that thing! Then I lost it for 3 years, but found it again, and still love it!
 
The card that gives me the best memories isn't actually my card.

A few years back, I was at my first prerelease (it was Hidden Legends) and I thought it was pretty cool. I met a cool guy called Ryan and he pulled a Regice EX. After a few rounds, both me and him were tied in the top of the division. I had a crazy lucky deck using like 3 Starmie, 3 Ninetales (I had the best pulls, they said). I somehow beat him in finals and won an ENTIRE box at my first OP Premier Event (within limits). I just loved it. I guess the cards that give me the best memories are Regice EX HL and Ninetales HL.

EDIT: Oh, and I pulled a Wigglytuff EX in my main packs. Got the best pulls in my 6 original packs in that prerelease. :D
 
another one of mine is kingdra la because a day before battle road I was missing 1 kingdra and nobody had it for trade so I bought a box got the last kingdra in the last pack got second in BR`s with the deck the next day
