Does anyone else play? Its already the #1 card game in Japan, passing Duel Masters(which is HUGE over there). Alot of the Japanese Pokemon players play also. Its super fun, and very inexpensive.

You realize that the character of Amaterasu in Okami is based off of the actual (I don't wanna imply that she's real, but you know what I mean) sun goddess in Japanese mythology. Who is coincidentally named Amaterasu.

Ah, that makes more sense. I forgot that Amaterasu was a 'real' goddess thing.

This looks really cool, I need to read it over some time.
 
I've heard of the game, and I know some players. I have been considering picking the game up, now that there's actually English cards... I went to something that was meant to teach me the game and got a free pack out of it once, but I lost my cards (o_O), though they were Japanese, but I never really got anything productive done, I wasn't taught the rules or anything....
 
Its really fun, and all the cards are basically full arts. #1 game in Japan after 5 sets! Passed even Duel Masters and YGO!
 
So this game looks absolutely amazing. My friend introduced it to me today and I actually looked into it and its just spectacular. I love how inexpensive it is as well. It is a little confusing at first, but just watch the first 2 episodes of the anime and you can pick up the game really easily.

I'm definitely gonna have to pick up both the theme decks and some packs (maybe a box).

Does heart of the cards or whoever runs distribution in America have plans to like create a tournament system or some kind of organization to the play of Cardfight?

Just order some online, also its starting to spread, so just ask your local store if they can stock it.
