Ruling Carnivine D/P Question

Will things like LPS stadium and/or Energy Root count towards Carnivine's HP total in regards to the Swallow Up attack and whether or not it does 60 damage?
 
I think it does count, as it says 'count theremaining HP of Def. Poke. & Carnivine' and NRG Root ups your remaining HP, in a way..
 
Of course it does. It worked for Swalot, it works for Carnivine.
 
yeah it counts and could be so mean if you roll him out first turn!!! can you say bye bye basics?!?!?!

LPS + Energy root = 100HP and 60 damage Turn2 could be useful as a starter because of its low energy cost and high KILL power!!! ree! ree! ree! run its carnivine come for you children!!!

Bah. This is why I lock threads after I answer them. I don't know why I left this open, but if anyone ever wondered why threads usually get locked fast, the previous post is a good example.
