Okay, so the Chandelure that is to be released in the Phatom's Gate set reads as follows:
Chandelure - Psychic - HP130
Stage 2 - Evolves from Lampent

Ability: Fainting Spell
Once during your opponent's turn, if this Pokemon would be Knocked Out by damage from an attack, you may flip a coin. If heads, the opponent's Active Pokemon is Knocked Out.

[P][C][C] Cursed Drops: Put 6 damage counters to your opponent's Pokemon in any way you like.

Weakness: Darkness (x2)
Resistance: ?
Retreat: ?

For those who don't know, this card is extremely reminiscent of Gengar ( http://pokebeach.com/scans/stormfront/18-gengar.jpg ) from Stormfront, which was one of the best cards in its time. Not only was the deck very fun, it was very competitive.
This new Chandelure doesn't have quite as good attacks IMO, but the ability is good enough. I want to know what possible decks could be created using this Chandelure. I'm very excited to see the impact this card might have!

Donphan Chandelure
Does some damage, but then brings up Chandelure. If your opponent koes the chandy and flips heads, then they get 2hkoed by donphan. If they flip tails then they die too.

Gengar EX/ Chandelure/ Dusknoir would be the best option in my opinion. Use Gengar EX to damage and poison their Active, then switch into Chandelure. Keep all damage off the Active Pokemon with Dusknoir so that you don't waste damage when Chandelure knocks them out with his ability.

I wish this card had a better attack. Maybe 9 counters or if 6 reduce the cost to one psychic (or even PC). It's a stage 2 with a flippy ability so it wouldn't be asking for much.

If I were to play this, I'd just put the counters on their bench. Or pair it up with something like Blastoise EX (rapid spin).

Lots of fun potential in this guy. The big problems are that it's a stage 2 and has an ability that only works on your opponent's turn. This presents a major challenge both getting it out and getting the ability to activate in a format where Seismitoad and Garbodor will be common.

That aside, this card can give your opponent a really bad day, especially if they're EX-heavy. The attack makes me want to vomit, but coupled with the new Gengar-EX, or perhaps Donphan, one could make an interesting deck. In the extended format, one might even consider running it with Accelgor, as the opponent will have to devote resources to both getting out of paralysis / poison and getting Chandelure out of the active zone, thus exhuasting resources quickly.
