Changing "posts per page"

Hello everyone,

I'm new here and I'm wondering if it's possible to change the number of posts that display on a page when you're viewing a thread. For some of the longer threads it seems like it would be easier to see twice the number of posts and half the number of pages.

Many forums have a setting for changing this in the control panel but I was unable to find one there, and I didn't see anything about it in the Newbie Guide which has a lot of information about CP settings.

Is there a way to do change this? If not, no worries - just thought I'd ask.

Ok, this is possible. First, go to te User CP, then scroll down until you reach "Edit Options". Look for the section on "Forum Display Options". There will be an option to change it.

Hello, Señor!

I checked that section just now and I saw two options:

"Threads per Page" which allows you to change the number of threads you see at once when you're looking at a forum, and...

"Default Thread View" which allows you to limit the threads that appear to threads which have been active in the last 5 days, 10 days, etc.

I'm not seeing any options in that section which refer to the number of posts on a page when you're viewing a thread...?



EDIT - It's in "Thread Display Options"! Silly me, I should have seen it. Thanks!
