Charizard d, 9/14

this card was made so powerful, again~

but the atk's effect suks! it sounds : discard ALL metal energy on charizard !!!
it should have sound like this : discard 2 metal energy on charizard!

anyway the combos :

with metagross DX, but u'll hurt it

with flygon δ, heavy on charging the energies, but needs a way to get energies back!

with swarmpert ex - the one that i think the worst out of this 3, might not work
 
One of the combo Arcanine 274 mentioned was wrong. Arcanine 274 said that Charizard d works with 3 magcargo. However, if you use Magcargo's power more than once, it will shuffle back the card searched by previous magcargo on that turn, which leads you only can unsure you get 1 energy from peal of thunder, not 3 if you have 3 magcargo.:rolleyes:
 
There is a nice combo with Charizard d. First u must put Holon reasearcher tower in play, next u may have Golduck d to protect this stadium, next u must have Dragonite d in play and Ampharos from UFO.
When u attack with Charizard first time, u discard two lightning energies instead of metal, bbecause its said on charizard d attack: "Discard Metal energies" not Metal energy cards. On next turn you are using Dragonite D Power to retrive lightning energy to one of your benched Pokemon, and next you are using Ampharos Power to move it on Charizard D. Isn't that combo Great ? U can also have 2 Dragonite's D and 2 Ampharos'es on your bench, and u can attack with Charizard attack every turn. Only problem with this combo is that, your opponent can use Battle Frointer to block power of Dragonite, or he can use Windstorm to discard Holon reasercher Tower. Sorry for my english grammar. I am from Poland,and I am learning it. When Crystal Guardians arrive in Poland, i am gonna to build deck with Charizard d. See ya!
 
One thing you need to make sure. Make sure that the other two energies are not basic energy or can provide metal. Since, research tower stated that all basic energy provide matal, you have to discard all if charizard has 4 basic energeis on it. So, holon energies such as holon GL can help.
 
If I am wrong please correct me.... When Holon Research Tower is played, ALL Energy that is a basic Energy will provide BOTH a Metal and a Lightning Energy. So, it's either a Metal Energy or a Lightning Energy. So, if it's a Metal Energy, your have to DISCARD every darn Energy on Charizard. If it's not, then you can't attack.
 
Yes, if all energies attached on Charizard d are basic and you have holon research tower in play, all energies are discarded.
 
So that's what Metazard is:/ Nice review Arcy;) But yeah, the Magcargo thing was off:p
 
That is a good card and it has good HP and attcks too. I wish I had that card.:)

well, we still have tyranical power that havent been puted to test~

anyway, my friend offered me abt $ 14 for 3 charizard δ (1 is AH) , i'm still wondering whether i should buy it or not....:rolleyes:

the magcargo thing DOES work ya know....

the thing is the main energy cargo is gonna smoot ovah is DRE

energy charge to bring it back.....

the thing with metazard is you hurt your active Pokémon 2 much...

w/ flygon d, wat if charizard get's ko'd, you start from scratch again????

what i think about it is a real eye opener....
 
You could use Mr. Stone's Project to get electric energy and then use Holon Research Tower to turn them to steel energy. Then use Metagross DX to get him back and use Blissey ex to heal. If Holon Research Tower gives u a hard time, windstorm CG it.
