Say I play Charizard d from my hand and use his "Peal of Thunder" Poke-Power, and say theres a Holon's Magneton/Electrode/Castform there, maybe 2 other basic energies, and the rest gets discarded. Would the Holon's Magneton/Trode/Casty get discarded for being a Pokemon or would it be considered an energy yet?

No, they only provide energy when they are in play.
actually, they are only energy cards when attached to a Pokémon in play, they can still be played as regular Pokémon, and would then not be an Energy
just wanted to correct that ;)

Hmm, why are there soooo many questions about Holon's Castform/Magneton/Electrode?? Why can't people understand them?? Answers are said on the posts above me.

You can sort of relate that to the Power Tree ruling. Your discard pile counts as being "in play" however their presence in the discard pile does not disrupt Power Tree's effect. You can also not select them as Special Energy cards because they are not attached to a Pokemon. It says right on their card that "While attached to a Pokemon, this card counts as..." so anytime they are not attached to a Pokemon they are just a normal Pokemon card.
