  • 2 Professor Birch's Observations
  • 2 Switch
  • 2 Enhanced Hammer
  • 2 Acro Bikes
  • 1 Shauna
  • 1 Startling Megaphone
  • 1 Sacred Ash
  • 2 AZ (switch charizards and still atacking)
Energy: 11
  • 4 Double Colorless Energy
  • 7 Fire Energy
Strategy:

Using Pyroar to block EX and catch someone . Seismitoad to block items . Charizard is the main attack.

I made some changes in the old deck. But I have some difficulties to be able to attack quickly with charizard . Sometimes I get stuck without power or with nothing to do.

The shaymin is really that important ? I see some guys playing this deck with 3 shaymins and 2 hoopas. Dont have money for that =/

In the old deck , Lugia EX was saving on some complicated occasions.

What suggestions do you guys give me to improve this deck.

My advice would be to put in some burning energy and get rid of a Lysandre or two. If you are unfamiliar with the new energy, whenever the energy gets discarded, you put the burning energy back on. So all you do is attach 1 burning energy to PHF Pyroar and you have infinite Lysandres as long as he doesn't get killed. If you do that then you definitely do not need 3 Lysandre.
(I am an idiot)

I also think having 1 Seismitoad is a bit useless. The chances of you starting with Seismitoad are slim (1/60) and you really need Seismitoad out early to mess up your opponent. I faced a Seismitoad deck recently and he couldn't get Seismitoad out until around turn 5, and by that time I had gotten my Pokemon powered up enough that I could kill it in 2 turns, so it didn't really do much. If you take him out you can also take out some of the DCE.

If you want a cheap alternative to Shaymin, try the new Octillery. It has an ability where you can draw until you have 5 cards once per turn. The advantages here are that you can do it every turn (and multiple times per turn if you have multiple out) so you don't have to AZ or Scoop-Up Shaymin to use the ability again, and the card is not an EX so if it gets killed with a Lysandre you only lose one prize (also as it is not an EX it is cheap). The disadvantages are that you get 5 cards instead of 6, and it is a stage 1 card. Thus you run into a bit of risk of starting with only Remoraid and it does take a couple turns to get Octillery's ability off.

I would also switch up the Shauna for Ace Trainer or Judge. You have a ton of draw already so you might as well have a card or 2 that can really disrupt your opponent. Since you do have a ton of draw already, the fact that you can only use Ace Trainer when you have more prize cards isn't much of a deal. I might also consider Giovanni's scheme as another card you could replace Shauna with.

I might also think about putting 1 or 2 Pokemon Fan Club in. You only have 6 basics, and half of them are very weak, so starting with only Litleo could become a common problem. PFC would get around that as you could put down 2 Charizard instantly.

In the end this is what I would change.
-1 Lysandre
-2 DCE
-1 Seismitoad EX
-1 Shauna (or -1 PBO if you really want to keep the 1 Shauna)
-2 AZ (maybe I misunderstand you, but I don't see much of a use for the AZ)
-1 Trainer's Mail or Acro Bike (personal preference, I feel the cards aren't worth 6 spots in your deck (I honestly would get rid of all 6) and things like PFC or more Energy would serve you much better. This is especially true when you have Scorched Earth to get cards from instead) Again, that is my personal opinion, so you might feel differently.)

+4 (2 - 2) Octillery line (If you are against the Octillery line, put back the 2 AZ and TM/AB, for your 4th card you could choose between Lysandre, PFC, or Giovanni's scheme depending on personal preference)
+1 Ace Trainer (or Judge)
+2 Giovanni's scheme (if you disagree about my choice to remove AZ, then keep AZ instead of this)
+1 Pokemon Fan Club

Burning Energy will not work with Flare Command. Burning Energy only works when discarded by an attack.
"This card can only be attached to Pokémon. This card provides Energy only while this card is attached to a Pokémon.

If this card is discarded by an attack of the Pokémon this card is attached to, attach this card from your discard pile to that Pokémon after attacking.

(If this card is attached to anything other than a Pokémon, discard this card.)"

Ah lol, sorry about that. In that case I would keep the Lysandres and not put any Burning Energy in.

The seismitoad is a wildcard against other seismitoads or against charizard decks. Before I had a lugia on the deck and I'm already missing her . I need other Pokemon to get out of bad situations to charizard/fire and Lugia has a much faster response in bad situations . Shot the seismitoad and put her?

I will add the fourth charizard on the deck too, and remove sacred ashes, but play with less than 4 double energys is definitely not an option. Even without the seismitoad .

I followed yout advice and changed one shauna by an ace trainer. And put 1 pokemon fan club (-1 AZ). Acro and Trainers mail serve to fill a gap without shaymins . Giovanni is a great tip . But here in my country , is not allowed in regional tournaments yet. Only next year.

I have a hoopa ex and maybe get 1 shaymin only . I dont think it's worth add them right?

I'll do some tests with these minor changes.

Many thanks for the reply. New suggestions are welcome.
