Help Charizard GX - for funsies.

Hi all,

I'd really appreciate any suggestions as to what I could pair with Charizard GX from Burning Shadows.

I'm aware that the card isn't the best, thus this is simply for fun and not intended to be for competitive play.

I have been thinking Rayquaza from Guardians Rising, along with Dawn Wings Necrozma/Float Stone combo. Are there any other partners that could benefit the theme (using Crimson Storm with Charizard GX, then switching to Rayquaza to load up Charizard GX again)? Obviously Rayquaza can only accelerate two energies at a time, so this would be inconsistent with Charizard GX's hefty three discard.

Any suggestions?

I agree with Kiawe, but why not try something different?

Using Victini GUR, Charmander GEN and Shining Celebi PRSM, you can hit for really good numbers if Charizard GX is damaged.

For accleration you can use Turtonator GX, too.
