Ruling Charizard SW

For it's attack which haves you discard 2 or 4 energies, if I have a boost energy and a fire basic and I roll heads which makes me discard 2, do I discard a fire and the boost or just the boost because it counts as 3?


Blast Burn: 120 Damage
Flip a coin. If heads discard 2 energy. If tails Discard 4.


Boost: 3 energy
Fire Basic: 1 Energy

Discard if head:

Boost: because it counts as 3

or

Boost and Basic Fire: bacause they are 2 energy card.

It says discard 2 energy CARDS. Boost is 1 energy card so you would have to discard both of them. A tails would make the attakc fails.

You also have the problem of that attack requiring 3 Fire Energy to use it in the first place. Not sure what you're expecting Boost to do for you there.
