12 {R} Energy

Strategy:
I start with Spiritomb and charmander. I evolve it and tries to get out as many fire pokemon as possible. then i use Charizard and tries to get as many KO's as possible. Ninetales is for draw power.

Any comments?

Any???

I think because it's a pretty standard Charizard deck. I would say no copycat, since Ninetails is going to be your draw power, you will almost always have more cards than your opponent, or at least enough cards.

if you can, replace SSU with Seekers, since there is no coin flips. as well as one less pokemon collector, it really turns into a dead draw once your bench is full. throw in some rescue energy, that way you can bring another charizard into play once one get's KO'd.

I'd recommend dropping the two Pokemon Reversals for a third Rare Candy and a third Bebe's Search. This should speed up the deck some.

Ok, thanks :)

Ok, the deck is now:

Pokèmon: 22

3-2-3 Charizard AR
2-2-2 Typhlosion prime
2 Vulpix SH6 PL
2 Ninetales HGSS
4 Spiritomb AR

T/S/S: 23

3 Seeker UL
2 Expert Belt AR
3 Rare Candy UL
1 Luxury Ball SF
2 Pokèmon Communication HGSS
1 Palmer's Contribution SV
3 Bebe's Search RR
2 Fisherman HGSS
2 Pokèmon Collector HGSS
3 BTS PL

Energy: 12
12 Energy
3 Rescue Energy

Better now?

OOPS!! Srry guys! it's 15 Energy ;)

I'm a bit iffy on Fishermen in the deck because you use Typhlosion's Poke-Power to energize your Charizard. I think it would be better to have them be Interview's Questions. This lets you get the energy from your deck and be able to have better chance of using Ninetail's Poke-Power during your turn.

I disagree. Fisherman is key to set up with Ninetales. However, you want to get 5 fire types on the bench so:
-4 Spiritomb AR
+2 - 2 Ninetales

Otherwise...-1/2 Rescue Energy
+2/1 Warp Energy

@Pokemunkulys: I disagree on taking out the Spiritombs. I should know how difficult of a time Charizard has against trainer lock, and Spiritomb helps Charizard get itself set up and essentially power through the lock. Different builds run different things, but If you're concerned with trainer lock(like I am with my build) than Spiritomb is the manz to run. Not only that, but once rotation hits, I believe trainer lock will be even bigger and Charizard will need a way to get past it.

I'm testing Spiritomb out in my build right now and it seems to work fine. I'll probably make my Typhlosion line a 2-2-2 now instead of a 2-1-2 and drop my Candies to 2, rather than 3.

Still, Sableye is a better alternative than Spiritomb. If you're up against non-trainer lock, you don't want to be screwing yourself over. Or Jirachi.

In a match against non-trainer lock decks, Spiritomb isn't even required. Just start with Charmander or something and go to town. Problem solved! Sableye isn't consistent enough to get Charizard set up against trainer lock IMO, though. At least I don't think it is. Has someone used Sableye in Charizard to any success? Because I've never heard of it.
