I think Charon's choice is misprinted it reads:
"Search your deck for any 1 Rotom card, and switch it with any Rotom you have in play. Any damage counters and cards attached to the original Rotom remain on the new Rotom (Special Conditions and effects are removed). Then, return the original Rotom to your deck and shuffle your deck." the rotoms all have specific names fan,heat,frost etc. thus meaning you can not switch any rotom only the ones that say rotom then their level and the rest of the text.

If it is Rotom, it can search for any card that says Rotom.

No, they don't have the same name. You can play up to four of each Rotom in your deck. Like you can play 4 Heat Rotom and 4 normal Rotom and maybe 2 Wash Rotom.

Charon's Choice says that it can take out any Pokemon as long as it has Rotom somewhere in it's name. Since Heat Rotom has "Rotom" in its name, then it can be chosen for CC.

it's just like unown C, it also reads you to search for an unown, but all unown are also named unown A, unown B.

That scan is of my CC, so I know that it's definately not a misprint )).

It's meant to be like that; if it said "Search your deck for any 1 Fan Rotom, Heat Rotom, Mow Rotom, Wash Rotom, Fridge Rotom or Rotom and switch it ..." Everyone would complain as to why they didn't just put rotom. Besides, Heat Rotom etc are different forms of Rotom, not different pokemon entirely.

Yes, they are all different Pokemon but can all be picked out with CC.

Again, look at Unown C

Look at Call. Search your deck for an Unown. It's almost the same as Charon's Choice. Putting Unown A, Unown B........ or Unown Z is pointless, and they all contain the name Unown.

Do you get it now? They have ROTOM in their name.

He's kind of got a point. All the Unowns have Unown in their name, but you can still play 4 of each in your deck. Just like you can play 4 of each Deoxys. Which brings me to:

Read Deoxys' form change poke-power. lets you look for any Deoxys at all, even though they're all specific forms.

It's kinda like the new Arceus rule, exactly like the Unknown rule.

Kind of...
The Arceus rule is different though.
Arcues lets you have ANY number of each in your deck.
Not just 4 Fire, 4 Lightning, etc.​
