I arrive and trade an SP radar for RH Spiritomb AR, and we start.

I make a deck with 1-1 Pidgeotto, 2-2 Granbul, 2-1 Vaporeon, 1-1 Donphan, Hitmontop, every baby Pokemon I pulled (I think 2 Mime Jr. and 1 or two Magby), 5 water, and 10 fighting. I also use every trainer I got, which I think was a Research Record (like Seeker, I hate the new name because it's a tounge twister), 2 PONT, 2 interviewer's and 2 Copycat. I probably used some other stuff I can't remember.

Round 1:

So this is actually a challenging game. He uses Relicanth to draw 3 cards and lost zone stuff, but I use Eevee to get down counters, but he just retreats to Snorlax and passes. I retreat my Eevee and send up Granbul and use Timid Tackle to bring up Mime Jr., but next turn he passes and uses Layabout to heal everything. I stall with Mime Jr. for a while, but eventually he KOs it, and I use Granbull to get more damage, and eventually KO it. I can't remember what he sent up next, but he managed to take his second to last prize card, and my only option is to use Mime Jr. to deck him out, and I do, and win round 1.

1-0

Round 2:

DE helped make his deck, so obviously this was going to be challenging. I start bad, and misplay forgetting that Slowpoke can evolve into Slowking while he whittles Slowpoke away with Magby. It gets KO'd, and I try and use Mime Jr. and Vaporeon, but he uses Hitmontop and Flareon to sweep my field. GG.

1-1

Round 3:

Well, this game was difficult but I pulled it off. She's got another Snorlax build and is the daughter of the other guy with Snorlax. So I start with Slowpoke again and she starts Hitmonchan. She uses detect to stall and Sky Uppercut to lay 30 on Slowpoke, but I retreat and use Vaporeon again to tank. With Spiral Drain, I'm doing 20 to her and heal 20, and she's only doing 30 a turn, so that comes down to only 10 difference. She retreats to Hitmonlee, and is 10 short of KOing me with it's attack. By the time Vaporeon's 10 off, I stall with Mime Jr., then set up Donphan and 2HKO it. Meanwhile, Groudon's pumping up and I'm a bit scared of that, and my Second Sight Slowking comes just in time to stop her from drawing it the entire game. When she finally KOs my Donphan with Ursarang I use Hitmontop to 2HKO it, since she can't flip a heads to KO it, and it's 10 off, and I KO it with Triple Kick (40 last turn, 80 next turn). She can't set up either the Snorlaz she sends up or Groudon, so I use this opportunity to heal Vaporeon, but realize it's a misplay, seeing I only have 2 turns until I deck out! She uses Layabout to heal the 20, which is another misplay in return because she can't use it the next turn whenI retreat to Hitmontop and flip one heads for 40. Next turn I use Hitmontop and flip 2 heads for game.

2-1

I was the only senior there so I won the extra pack!

Aside from stuff in my deck, I also pulled the new Grass energy, Jirachi, Ninetales, and some other cool stuff. I get another foil Psychic, 3 lost removers, another Slowking, and a Lostworld from trading, and I traded my Lostworld for a Seeker, and then I traded one of my old foil seeker for ERL bottom (The guy was trying to foil out TU, and it was the only card he needed). I also trade a PONT and 2 Interviewer's for a foil SSU and Sp. Dark NRG. When it was announced that I won Senior's because I was the only senior, I got the extra pack.

Props:

Good trades
Got almost every want out of the set (So far I need 1 Lost remover and a LW playset, and unlimited foil NRG)
DE giving me the Staff promo Snorlax again
People liking my haircut (I had super long hair before, so it's a huge change lol)
buying a Nidoran/Nidoqueen/Jolteon binder from 2004 for 5 bucks (lunch money)

Slops:

The set sucks :/
Not going undefeated for the first time
Being the only senior there
Pulling 0 Lost World
Pulling 0 Lost Remover (Luckily I traded)
Not many people got foil energy they would trade
Being stuck at the place FOR TWO HOURS because my mom couldn't pick me up in time
Some baby for throwing my dice in the trash
No lunch money because I spent my only 5 on this epic Nidoran/Nidoqueen/Jolteon binder (See username, I love other Nidos beside Nidoking though so it was a must have for me)

Thanks. I found that babies are perfect in prereleases. They make the deck 10 times better. Being some of the only cards in the set with Free retreat, and the attack and body just wrap it all together. The best are Mime, Cleffa, and Smoochum, but idk if Smoochum is in the set.

Yeah. Babies are actually pretty good cards they're just really hard to use in the meta

Actually I like Mime Jr. and Tyrogue the best so far for babies, probably going to try to use Totodonk at my PR.
