I heard there was some hype over it awhile ago, and read the card, but it kinda stinks, so whats the big idea, why was it so good, was it a combo, or what?

They didn't say it was a good deck, just that Mr.Moss made a trade thread asking for lots of Claydol Ex's for Nats. Then everyone went crazy for them.
