Claydol or Uxie?

Play 2-2 claydol AND 2-3 uxie, unless you're deck doesn't care about being slow (then 1 uxie is okay).

Dude, you can't play 2-3 Uxie. It's against the rules. Plus I think that's too much draw power.

Oh, sorry. I thought you meant 2 Uxie and 3 Uxie Lv.X. But I still don't think you need that much draw power in a deck.

You can never have too much draw power. I wish I could fit 2-2 claydol and 3 uxie in every one of my decks but it doesn't happen often. Uxie is a good tech attacker against alot of decks while claydol gives you options every turn, meaning both cards have pluses the other doesn't.

If you want super quick speed early then use Uxie but if you want a more consistant flow throughout the game use Claydol...

And it also depends on a bunch of things like your playstyle and deck.

I don't think there is any "but' anymore. You pretty much have to play at least a 1-1 claydol and at least 1 uxie in every deck now (gigas might be the only exception because it is a basic deck). Uxie is pretty much a must for any deck in order to counter gengar and bad starts while claydol is pretty much the definition of consistancy.

I took to playing 1-2 Claydol and 1 Uxie in every deck I have Azelf in. Works like a charm I tell you.

To those who know me, im slower then a snail...

Are you saying that you play 1x Baltoy and 2x Claydol?

Yes he is, which is incredibly risky most decks run 2-2 at the very least, and some go 2-3/2-4 (gotta love that with regiXXX or lunatone).

Wrong, he's saying that he's running 1 OR 2 Claydol lines.

No, he says he's running a Baltoy and two Claydol, because he mentioned Azelf, which presumably gets the Baltoy out of the prizes if it happens to be found there.

Mostly I agree with Foxtrot, but a lot of decks can't afford to waste bench spots on 2 Uxie and a Claydol... :p

Yeah, thats the problem Im having actually, I only have 1 bench spot to spare for either of them.
So going with both Uxie and Claydol is not a good idea I think.
Even though Uxie gets out of the way as soon as it attacks ofcourse.

If you get the Uxie Lv. X out, you can take out a Machamp Lv. X.

It really depends on the deck, but I would go 2-2 claydol. Its power is recurring and is pretty nice.

Yes, I am. Azelf is an awesome card and can easily replace Baltoy if I need it to.

Oh, it is risky, I'll give you that. But with Azelf covering stuff, it passes. Particulary since Azelf is just such a handy lil swiss army knife, the way I prefer to use it. And I don't do this in ALL decks, mind you.

No, I'm not.

I prefer to use only one Uxie due to bench space issues. Its there for the pinch. This only goes for the slower but more powerful decks, so not for stuff like Regigigas which NEEDS multiple uxies.
