Pokemon: 14

  • 3 Dialga EX (PF)
    3 Bronzor (PF)
    3 Bronzong (PF)
    2 Cobalion EX (PLF)
    2 Keldeo EX (BCR)
    1 Cobalion (LTR)
Trainers/Supporters/Stadiums: 33

  • 4 Professor Juniper
    4 N
    2 Skyla
    2 Colress
    2 AZ
    2 Lysandre
    1 Pokemon Fan Club
    2 Ultra Ball
    2 Battle Compressor
    2 VS Seeker
    2 Float Stone
    3 Muscle Band
    3 Steel Shelter
    1 Dowsing Machine
    1 Starling Megaphone
Energy:13

  • 11 Steel Energy
    2 Double Colorless Energy

Strategy:
Attack with Dialga and Cobalion, while Bronzong and Klinklang are supporting, Aegislash is there for a stall if I need it, and Skarmory is for a non ex attacker.

Want to Add:
2-2 Beartic (Furious Fists)

1 Skarmory EX
Muscle Band, Float Stone, Profs Letter

Edited to coincide with the rules! :D ~Kecleon

I suggest you drop Klinklang it isn't much help as I've already tested it. It actually makes your deck slow down quite a bit. I would put in 1 or 2 Keldeo with 2 float stones. You need to be able to attach energy back on Dialga and Keldeo is a great option to do so. Also Klink is the basic form of Klinklang. I would also look at Cobalion (LTR) for non ex attacker

-2 Klang
-2 Klinklang
-2 Rare Candy

+1 Keldeo
+2 Float Stones
+1 Switch
+1 Lysandre

Can't think of the extra slot

I would consider Iron Breaker Cobalion over Skarmory as a non EX attacker. Iron Breaker can be annoying while doing decent damage with Muscle Band, and Energy Press is not to be overlooked either. It also has more HP than Skarmory.

Nice list. Following are some comments for your consideration:

  • Your counts are off: you now have 15 Pokemon listed, not 17; 33 Trainers, not 30; and the total card count is 61.
  • Of the new M-type Poke, I feel Aegislash EX is the "weakest." Should your opponent have either a Poke with no Special energy attached or Garbotoxin in effect, your Aegislash EX can be easily KOd. So, its "stalling" ability may not really be that effective.
  • I've found that running 1 Pokemon Fan Club (especially now with VS Seeker) can be quite helpfull when I need to get certain basic Poke in place quickly. Eventhough you want to dump M energy into your discard pile (for Bronzongs' use later), you still have ample opportunities to do so with fewer Ultra Balls and the Battle Compressor.
  • Going on the assumption that your Keldeo (with an attached Float Stone) can get your active Poke back to the bench, then the Switch can be replaced for more useful cards like Muscle Band.
  • You might find Cassius may be a bit more helpful than Az. I prefer Cassius since I can recover all of the cards attached to my Poke in addition to the Poke itself. Will be helpful if you need to recover the DCE. Suggest you playtest both to see which best fits your style and deck options.
Given the above comments, I'd suggest the following changes:

-1 Aegislash EX.
-1 Skyla. 2 should be sufficient, IMO.
-1 Ultra Ball.
-1 Switch.

+1 Pokemon Fan Club.
+2 Muscle Band.

Also, you might find 1 Professor's Letter to be useful to help get the energy flowing. You could replace 1 M energy with this Item. Lastly, have you considered including M Kangaskhan EX / Kangaskhan EX? Would help out in Pyroar matches.

I hope you find these comments helpful.

I suggest:

-3 Dialga EX
-2 Keldeo EX
-2 Battle Compressor
-1 AZ
-1 Steel Shelter
-2 Float Stone
-1 Cobalion LTR
-2 Double Colorless Energy

Total : -14
There are many 15 card combos you could add to this deck. I suggest removing these because you will have such a big bench and a lot of excess pokemon just sitting there it can get sort of messy and hard to decide what card to get. Dialga EX has its own deck with keldeo. Cobalion LTR half the time does not get played (Personal Experience) and wastes the 1 slot. Too many keldeos fight for board space with bronzong, if you remove dialga then remove Double Colorless Energy, Since you run dowsing machine you can always grab a Steel shelter if needed, Float Stone is not needed if you remove Keldeo EX, Instead of Battle Compressor use Ultra Ball. I'm pretty sure you are using battle compressor to search for energy and discard them, so use Ultra ball to get a 2 for 1 combo. AZ is okay in this kind of a deck, but most of the time you will be using your supporters that get you more cards in your hand like Professor Juniper.

I suggest adding:

+2 Klink PLS
+2 Klinklang PLS
+2 Rare Candy
+2 Cobalion EX
+1 Startling Megaphone
+1 Muscle Band
+2 Cubchoo PLS
+2 Beartic FFI

Startling Megaphone is good against Virgen and Garbodor, Muscle Bands are awesome against Pyroar (Cobalion EXs second attack) Beartic is good against Pyroar and Landorus EX, Cobalion EX is anti Special Energy, and can kill Pyroar and is good for mirror match, Klinklang is just so good in the current meta. Also you could try Hard Charm just so Pyroar and other Pokemon can not one shot your Cobalion EXs. Hopefully this helps you!

Looks pretty solid. I've been experimenting with this deck as well. I think at least a fourth Bronzor is worth adding for consistency reasons. You need to get those things out on the field on turn one, so it's best to have some insurance. My list goes even as far as to have a 4-4 Bronzong line, just to ensure that I have my setup. I also feel Cobalion NVI / LTR isn't really necessary. True it's a one-prize attacker, which the deck otherwise lacks, but Cobalion-EX effectively fills its role, since Steel Bullet can OHKO Safeguarders without a Muscle Band.

@TuxedoBlack I made the changes, but I like AZ better than Cassius because it helps get Metal energy in the discard. However, I think that Aegislash will be a liability as most decks with special energy run Garbodor, such as Fighting.dec.

@Lensiax Why should I take out Dialga EX? In my opinion, he is the main attacker, and I think that his second attack helps make this deck run a lot better.

@MyLittleKeldeo Do you think that Cobalion could be replaced? I think that Energy Press can be useful at times when other attacks aren't enough.

Again, How would I get Beartic in this deck. I feel like if I do though, I would need to change the DCE count to 3 or 4 though.

At some point, you've got to determine what your priorities are, maybe based upon your area's metagame. Should you decide to go the Beartic route, then you may need to replace the Keldeos and Float Stones for a 2-2 Beartic line - which will provide some protection against R Poke, like Pyroar.

Or, you leave the deck as is and take your chances. IMO, build the best deck you can and just accept that you will have some bad match-ups. You just can not tech against ALL possible good decks in the the format.

Energy Press simply can't rack up the numbers to squeeze out a KO. Factring in Muscle Band, you'll likely be maxing out at 80-100 damage, which means Cobalion-EX's Steel Bullet will always hit for more. Iron Breaker is the bigger draw to Cobalion NVI for me, but even then in this format it's very easy for your opponent to switch to another Pokemon. You also have energy acceleration via Bronzong, so by turn two you should have enough energy on the field for Steel Bullet or even Full Metal Impact.

I would also advise against Beartic in this deck right now. This deck's muscle comes from hard-hitting Pokemon-EX. The heavy Bronzong line is the only evolution you need to be playing. I'm assuming you want Beartic in to deal with Pyroar, but simply adding a 2-2 line won't make the matchup easy unless your opponent is having a very bad day. My advice is to latch onto what your deck does well, which is provide powerful attacks that can easily be cycled, while understanding that there is no perfect deck that can beat anything.

I am very against Beartic in this deck. You will ruin consistency in this deck which has lots of synergy with the decklist you have setup right now. I normally run one Cobalion (LTR) for Iron Breaker really just to stall and annoy not really there to do anything else besides being 7th prize.

Ok, so I guess no Beartic, which isn't really a problem. I think I might cut Cobalion for another Bronzor or Skyla.

What do you guys think of Metagross EX and Mega Metagross EX in thsi deck?

I would say it is too soon to know. Not sure when these cards will be coming out. But I can see it being more clutter than help.

I would be careful of running too many things.. Coby, Bronzong, KlingKlang, Aegi. variety is a killer.
you should either make this a speed deck with Bronzor as primary focus or a anti-EX deck with KlingKlang.

I ran a straight up Coby KlingKLang deck at Regionals (prior to Phantom Forces Release).
did OK. biggest problem was weakness to Fire types (think I lost all 3 games).
but I tweaked my deck to be a delay deck (since I had no energy acceleration).
I would use Right Edge and Team Flare to dump energies...
I to like Poke Fan Club. just in case of Seis Item Lock.
I relied on Coby EX Steel Bullet to go thru Sigi, Suic. and Pyroar.

my only concern is that the Bronzong deck isn't always as "fast" as VirGen or Blastoise.
especially when opponent targets and kills a few or a couple are stuck in Prize.

I'm currently playtesting to see if I like a Bronzong 2-2 line... but my primary goal is still to get KlingKlang up and going.
I use Cassius and Scoop Up Cyclone and Pokemon Center Lady to "stall" if needed.

maybe consider an Evosoda.
and a water type counter to Fire types.

I find consistancy is the best. The biggest hurdle for this deck is set up. After set up all I need are Lysandre's, and float stones / muscle bands to replace megaphoned ones. I also have the deck purely about getting the engine going, and ignoring trying to interrupt the opponent's game (aside from my pokemons attacks... dialga/coby/baby coby). Once set up this deck can wreck a lot of decks. Toad lock rarely ever gives me trouble with this set up, and yveltal gets eaten for 170hp band OHKOs along with Dialga discarding energy. Once set up controlling who you attack/KO with Dialga is key. That is why I choose a heavy lysandre line. This also helps with donphan, pyraor, and garb match ups.

Tech's to consider: I have considered some megaphones for the garb match up as well, though currently I've actually been running none. Other options I've considered is running a professors letter or two. The hardest matchup I've had consistantly is non-ex running night march (if they run celebi or mew/ lysandre eats them alive and evens the prize trade)... which when it sets up beats any deck based on Ex's because of the bad prize trade, I've considered beefing up my baby coby line just for that reason. Also I've considered hypno-toxic just for the one shot 180hp ex's, but I've also considered running pokemon catcher in addition to lysandre just for more control of what I take. One of the mistakes that most people make is benching a 170hp or less ex pokemon against this deck.

One thing people ignore a lot, is how powerful dialga-ex and baby cobys denial attacks are. Yes it is easy to switch in this meta, but if you can deny them attacking with the most optimal choice, it can win you the game. This is especially important early game when they only have one pokemon powered up with energy. With Enhanced hammer always lead with a single metal energy on the first turn, then into the DCE for chrono wind second turn attack with dialga. In general always place a DCE in a spot that is useful for the turn, but not necessary for following turns. The combination of keldeo/float stone and steel shelter make conditions just a minor annoyance (when they replace your stadium), or non-existant.

My bench and active look usually like this 2 Brongong/ Keldeo(float stone)/ Dialga/Baby Coby/ (either dialga or coby ex depending on the match)

Notes on Pyroar. If they set up fast, it could be over quickly. However you do have a chance. Play to your strengths. Use your heavy lysandre line to bring out litleo before it can evolve, and get big coby set up as fast as possible. Risk baby coby against pyroar instead of an ex... even a bronzong/bronzor if you have spare.

This is a good base deck.

Pokemon
4-4 Bronzong
3 Dialga-EX
1 Cobalion-EX (I would maybe want two of these but I only own one, but usually I only need him as a pyroar tech, he usually just gets discarded, baby coby works just as well against safeguarders)
2 Keldeo-EX
1 Cobalion LTR (This guy has totally won me games by himself, whether stalling or as a 7th prize)

Trainers
4 Professor Sycamore
4 N
1 Colress
4 Pokemon Fanclub
3 Lysandre
2 VS Seekers
4 Ultra Ball
4 Muscle Band
4 Float Stone
3 Steel Shelter

Energy
3 DCE
9 Metal Energy

If you have any questions about this deck and its incatricies (I've run it online in over 200+ games) feel free to ask.
