Its attack Iron Breaker says "The Defending Pokémon can't attack during your opponent's next turn". Does this mean your opponent is shut down from attacking you?

Idk how to do that on mobile but I directly quoted the attack from the card

Your "opponent" is not shut down from attacking, but rather the Defending Pokemon. You can still attack, but not with that Pokemon. You may retreat to another Pokemon and attack, or, since effects such as this one go away when that Pokemon is no longer the Active Pokemon, if you can play a Switch and then retreat back into the same Pokemon, you may still attack with it.
