• When creating a thread in the Deck Garage, make sure that you post one deck per thread, you use the correct prefix, you have the set name/card number next to each card, you give a strategy for non-metagame decks, and give translations for all cards not available in English.

Hi, I'm new-ish to the game, I played in the City Championships with this deck but only managed to win 3 games through the 5 tourneys I went to. I am open to any help, including completely re-vamping my deck. I'm hoping to be top-tier (as is anyone) but this is all I've come up with:

I think the main problem I faced was that I could never have my Cobalion set up in time to be useful, or they used Pokemon Catcher on my Solosis and Oddish before I could evolve them. Most of the cards I have are borrowed, and I can't really afford expensive ones, but as I said, any help is welcomed and I will (hopefully) be able to win a tournament or two this year!

Also I know some of these decks have odd names (This one is apparently similar to "The Truth)? So if possible please provide information other than just deck names. Thank you!
 
The problem is is that cobalion is the main attacker here and can easily get OHKOd. Try using a big basic and EXs because they have high hp and have high attacks. Usually you would want oddish to setup first. Bianca and cheren are not great supporters so I'd max out twins and take them out.

Thanks! I know there's no way i'll be able to get a mewtwo ex though, I've already bought two boxes and no luck there, but i did get a whole slew of reshiram ex
