I know that in the rules of Pokemon TCG, for play any cards or begin a round, flip a coin.

but I konw some players that use dice, Is it legal use dice???

Yes, dice is legal.
Both players must agree on 1 randomizer that will be used in the match.

Most players prefer dice, mainly because there are a lot of issues with the coin.

I heard some ridiculous stuff about the coin over at my last Battle Road. Has to flip in the air 3 times or something =\ Yeah, whatever. Dice are easier imo, and there's not much that can go wrong with them.
Also the Pokemon coins seem pretty unfair to me, one side of my coin is totally engraved, lowering aerodynamics, gravity, balance and stuff like that. xD

That's not ridiculous, that's actually written in the POP rules about coin flips. For a coin flip to be legal it must flip at least 3 times in the air to be counted as a legal flip otherwise you need to flip again. This is so people don't rig the flips by making it only flip over to the reverse side (it's quite easy to do). The same should be applied to dice, where it should roll across different numbers at least 3 times before it's counted, because rigging dice rolls is easy as well.

Dice are alot better because they are alot harder to cheat with. There is no rule as such saying that you cant use Dice.

in my zone, people manipulate dice, and is very bad, no is a good play whit this condicions

I'm with coins... its not my fault they suck at coin toss...

any way any coin will do for me...

I love coins...

they let you buy stuff like pokemon cards...

not like stupid dices they can't even buy you anything...

for example if your hungry the dice can't be exchanged for food so i go with coins...

it just takes a little practice to make it all perfect...

those who uses dice in our place just sucks at coin tossing...

well where i live in tournaments they provide dice and say absolutely no coins are to be used and you can only use the provided dice many people also like using them as damage counters because you can flip them to add damage for instance 6o damage put it on 6 but this isn't aloud n tourneys so don't show up with 11 or 12 dice

Nothing is more annoying than playing a game against someone who practices coin tossing. I played one guy who practices a regular toss & can get heads literally 9 times out of 10.

I really didn't care about coins vs dice until that game. Now I'm totally on the dice bandwagon.

What was the damage counter story all about? I personally am considering buying a tiny bottle of decoration stones to use em as damage counters because I like those...basically anything can be used as a damage counter, I honestly don't believe they create rules for that. Just make sure both players know that 1 blue stone = 10 damage, 1 green stone = poison, or something like that. As long as both players agree, there's nothing that can go wrong with them >_> you don't have to flip or roll them, that's another advantage =P

I say using dice would be much better. If it is loaded, it is not that hard to tell by the way it rolls. And they can be used as damage counters (1 die can mean 6 damage, if the 6 is facing up).

dieee Dice!!, sometimes is a little unjust, cos if u want use the coin and the other guy wants a dice, it is there where it is seen as of both it prefers the judge. and most of the times it prefers the dice, and if I do not want…. what can i dooo! it's the judge, and u can spend 20 minutes of your live fighting that you prefer to throw the dice or the coin, and last being the same.
