Collection question.

ok so im newish to collecting cards. and iv recently just finished my heart gold soul silver set.

anyway im wondering whats actually more valuable. to most collectors in terms to them and what actually has highest monetary value.

so yeah is a holo or a reverse holo more valuable. i much prefer holo but im just interested.

i got a reverse holo red gyarados. then got a shiny red gyarados in my next pack. which is more valuable. i also have plenty of the rares in holo and reverse holo

my main question though. typlosion, feraligatr, meganium. i got them all in packs all in reverse holo and non shiny, but for my set i also bought all 3 decks so i could get the nice shiny versions. and now have them in my folder. If i were to sell my folder (which i wont) what is more valuable the non shiny / reverse holo or shiny versions of the card?

Reverse Holo is more valuable, since getting the Rev Holo card you want is hard.

As for the others, I don't have a clue.

I'd say in some cases, Rare Holographics are more valued since well, they're nicer to look at than the Reverse Holographic versions. That's how I view them...

But Deck Holos should be worth more than RevHolo Booster versions, since you actually need to buy the Theme Decks to get the exclusive holo version of the card.

Reverse Holographics of Commons/Uncommons are more valuable than their normal versions, of course. Reverse Holographics of Staple cards in the competitive TCG (including SP cards) are much much more valuable than usual Uncommon/Common Reverse Holos.
