Collection Worth.

I have been collecting cards since I was 8 years old, 9 years ago.
This means I have cards dating back from the first ever set, and I stopped collecting around the release of the second Diamond and Pearl card set.
I have close to 200 holos, of which roughly 50 are pokemon X or Lv.X cards.

Obviously, alot of the cards in the collection are purely for nostalgic and collectors value, as they can not be used in official tournaments any more. However, I wonder if you guys, the experts could place a rough guess at the worth of my collection, which is likely around 2500-3000 cards.

Thanks in advance.

YOu shouls at least list your EX's and Lv. X's, maybe even rares and then we can be of some help.
LUK. ^^

I have 1 Pokemon card. It could be holo, it could not, it could be first edition, or it could be unlimited. Care to tell me it's value? How about for 2500-3000 others?

I mean come on, if you want some help, then you need to take a minute and not give some half a... thought-out description of what you have.

Wow man, do you have to be rude all the time? He obviously doesn't know all that much about the cards. He might not even know how to tell a rare card that is why he only specified holos and Lv X's.

If you were truly interested in helping then maybe you could ask him to list some of the holos like Yata did. You shouldn't even be posting if all you are gonna do is rip on people.

Now, on to the topic at hand.

Exfan: Some ex's and lv x's are worth more than others so its hard to say without a list. And just incase you don't know rares have a star in the corner.

With only 200 holos, all of them being outdated, and no specific list of ex/LV. X, I would say it isn't worth more than 300 dollars. This is just a rough guess based off of your information.

I'm not being rude, I simply choose to sugar-coat a valid point. If you would like to answer my question, you may feel free to do so. Considering it could be between $0.01 and $200 (or $5000+ for a few cards), you're not going to be able to be of much help to me.

The point is, that if they don't want to do enough to get the help, then there's no way to really provide it. If they want the help (particularly the help with the older cards), they need to allow me to do so. I am not going to hold their hand and give them a lollipop so I can spend my time in order to help them. Since when should I have to work to be able to work on helping someone? That's rediculous. I'm sure there are plenty of people that don't know much about the game that would be insulted by the comparison. There is a big difference between someone who doesn't know and someone who is just lazy. Considering they collected them for 9 years, logic says they know what a rare card is, and about the game in general. Of course, none of your post involves the word logic, so I suppose it is unfair that I request you apply it elsewhere as well.

Oh, and please don't accuse me of not requesting a list, as I clearly did. Without such a list, I can assume that all 150 remaining holos are PSA 10 1st Ed Base Set Charizards, making their collection over $15000, or I can assume they've all been drawn on with a crayon, in which case it would be no more then $20 to $25.

Point is, if you want to get a rough guess, you have to give us a rough idea of what you have (and three basic facts is not rough, mind you).
