I know a few people who are interested in this game so thought I should get some decks so we can play. I just don't know what decks are popular really, and more importantly which have a fair matchup and would constantly produce interesting games. They don't have to even be top tier, just ok for a tournament. Don't worry about the budget. So any ideas for me? Thanks ^^

Hmm... The Blastoise and RayBoar matchup is always intense, as it usually comes down to who has the more solid build. Well, that, and who can get their Baby Rayquaza/Baby Black Kyurem out fast enough while still setting up your Blastoise/Emboar and Delphox. That, and drawing into Lysandres.
I've always liked the Garbodor vs Blastoise/RayBoar matchup. Makes you really need to take full advantage of those turns when you can Megaphone, because you pretty much NEED to take 2 prizes during each of those turns to keep up.
