Would I be able to use Computer Search from base set in expanded?

No. Computer Search is an ace spec, which means you are only allowed one copy in your deck.
Normally, when you use a card that has updated ruling, you are required to have a reference copy with the updated ruling outside of your deck. Since that would mean you would need the ace spec version of Computer Search to use as a reference copy, the rules state that you might as well just use the ace spec, so the base set version is still banned from Expanded.
