BW/BW2 Confused about something

If somebody found something online that contained the .pkm files for event pokemon that have been released(past and present), and downloaded them onto their game, would it be flagged for tournament play? Or would everything be legit?

Pokesav'd Pokemon have a small chance of going undetected, but 99 out of 100 times you'd get caught. So don't try lol.

Just use RNG.

Hard to say. As said, actual generated Pokemon would be detected. But if you mean Pokemon that were copied from the game, put online, and put on another, it's nigh file trading, something common among traders. Don't take my word for it, but I think they would be unflagged.

The safest way to transfer .pkm files is through GTS abuse. That would avoid all direct interface with a device, and is accomplishable without trading.

1)Don't know how to RNG with a 3DS. 2)That's how I'd get the pkm files, through "GTS Abuse", whatever that means exactly.

Those would be considered unflagged. I know this because there were two different people at VGC Fall Regionals that had perfectly identical teams, both were hack checked, and BOTH of them passed. (Weird, I know, but it happened.)

I believe dummy GTS servers would end up getting flagged as I've heard about things like this in the past, though I could be mistaken.

Yeah, so long as the DNS is changed back afterward, I don't see how much detection could happen with 1:1 copies.

The reason I was asking was because I lost my old game, which had the Gamestop events for Zorua and Zoroark on top of a bunch of other neat pokemon. Well, I bought a used copy of white and don't have access to them, or their in game effects and was wondering if that would affect my game in anyway towards tournament play.

Ah, so you just want to have them, and not use them. I don't think it would affect you for tournament play. You might get some oddly coded Pokemon, but your save file and team will remain untampered. As far as I know, that's what the checker checks.

Would using a .pkm file of, say, Celebi allow me to take said Celebi to Castelia City with an open spot in my party to get Zorua? Same with the dogs and Zoroark...

Most likely, yes, but if you really want those events I actually have some spares (they're cloned but still legit, and they'll trigger the event). If you want them, hit me up via PM.

I know Marriland didn't care if you weren't using the Pokemon in the competition. Only which Pokemon are being used matters.

If you used a cheat device to file them up onto your computer chances are the files you put onto your game will be detected since technically File trading is cheating and that is the main reason why it is banned on these forums. Other forums are following suit very slowly. I am surprised Secure Members have not been caught yet since they file trade most of the time. Sooner or later they will be caught though XD.:)
