RE: can you help me please

You both need each other's friend codes. Then, go to the pokemon center, go up the stairs, talk to the person in the middle. That should get you in the wi-fi room.

Also, you have to have one of you request to trade, and the other go up to the person and join in. Then, you can trade.

Since this may involve more than a simple question and answer, I'll leave this open.

If you could provide more details, that would be great. If you break it down, the steps for trading over Wi-Fi are very complicated. They aren't really, of course. There are many things that can go wrong, listed here in the form of questions:

  1. Does your friend have your FC (Friend Code) registered (not a factor in your problem, but you should still check)?
  2. Are you sure that your connection settings are correct (did you get a "Connection Successful" message when you set it up)?
  3. If you've made it to the Wi-Fi Club itself, do you see your friend, kind of just standing there?

There are others, but these are just preliminary questions.

she does have my friend code and i have a connection and in the room i see her... we try talking with each other it says "mycala has connected with you" or "Mycala wants to join you" but we can't figure out how to respond to each other?

Hm. One of you has to go to the machine at the north of the room, and initiate the trade from there. Then, when the other person comes in, they'll see the former standing and jumping in one spot. Talking to that person will start the trade, after a Yes/No question or something (simple stuff). Does that help?

Edit: Yeah, range could have been an issue. I don't think of that often since it never happens to me. >.<

okay thanks for the help i tried your advice still nothing i moved closer to the wifi range and we got it to work with her talking to me
