ORAS Consecutive Fishing in OR/AS?

I have a question: Does anyone know if consecutive fishing is back?
I won't have the game for another week, and I'd really like to know

I don't think it's available in OR/AS. I haven't met anyone to give the explanation of chain fishing in-game. It could be programmed, however, but I haven't tried it myself yet. I did hear a high search level in the DexNav increases your chances of encountering shiny Pokémon, so this might be a replacement for that and more.

It's available. I did get a Shiny Wailmer from this method
