'CoroCoro' Reveals Gengar-EX, M Gengar-EX, Dialga-EX, Aegislash-EX, Dimensional Valley [8/9]

WPM, I thought you had noticed the Aegislash card on the small leak, I didn't know I was the only one who noticed it :3
Glad to see the full cards, and glad to see Dialga as a steel-type like I predicted :D
Also doesn't Dialgas attack do 150? Or am I just misreading it?

Seeing as it's more likely that Dialga EX will appear in XY4 rather than the actual Hyper Metal Chain deck getting a printing, I'm at least glad that the artwork is cool and its a Steel Type. That attack could be mighty interesting as well.

I'm pretty sure Dialga-EX is appearing in the Hyper Metal Chain Deck ;)

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I meant when the cards get an English printing.

A Gengar card that isn't broken? What sorcery is this?! :p

Well the Gengar-EX, anyway. It's actually the worst Pokemon-EX in XY that Mega Evolves. Being able to copy any move with Mega Gengar is quite powerful, especially since you don't need to add extra energy equal to what the attack requires. It doesn't help that Phantom Forces will feature cards that enhance Mega Evolution, so Mega Gengar could see himself winning a Championship or two.

Cant wait to see the effects of Dialga and Aegislash. Metal support would be nice. Gengar and Palkia strafe deck? haha. M Gengar is strong for sure, but if yuour deck isnt set up to deal with the drawbacks of an oppenents big attacks, discarding energy or not being able to use the attack next turn, it could come out clunky.

WoW! That Dimensional Valley is way too strong, if I imagine, what all 'mons are psychic types…
Anyway, my prediction for Aegislash EX is following: Because its attack is basically for only [C], I assume, it'd be something like “This attack does x more damage for each [M] energy attached to either this Pokémon or all of your benched Pokémon or anything like that.”
Dialga's second attack's “too” strong, so I assume, it will be “This Pokémon can't use this attack during your next turn” since steel types usually don't discard energies attached to itself (it's fire specialty). And hence the name of Dialga's first attack is Chrono Wind, I assume, it'll be something similar to either Golursk's Devolution Punch or shuffling either player's deck…

So basically against any deck other then one with Virizion you would Dark Corridor with Gengar, switch to Trevenant for item lock, and have Draglage on the bench to stop retreating. Possibly use it with Dusnoire BCR also to keep the damage moved off the active.

Hell even it is against Virizion, you can retreat into a Pyroar

Now we have two steel ex in one set. The other Mega might be the Manectric and maybe we will have another EX.

Looks like I will be looking forward to the regular cards in this set.

[split] (1) CoroCoro Leaking [8/7]

That stadium has the potential to be broken. Gengar EX and Toxicroak (BC) have free attacks, and Mew EX is given a lot more flexibility.

Oh man, I'm gonna love using Gengar-EX and M Gengar-EX. This set's gonna be fun! =D

Looking forward to the scans. Gotta admit I'm disappointed that Gengar has nothing to do with the lost zone though. :(

Mewtwo-EX now swings for an X-Ball with one Energy. An EX-immune Sigilyph can swing with two Energy too. Hm.

Aegislash-EX Metal - HP170
Basic Pokemon

Ability: Mighty Shield
Prevent all damage done to this Pokemon by attacks from your opponent's Pokemon that have any Special Energy attached to them.

[C][C][C] Slash Blast: 40+ damage. Does 20 more damage for each [M] Energy attached to this Pokemon.

When a Pokemon-EX has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

Weakness: Fire (x2)
Resistance: Psychic (-20)
Retreat: 3
Didn't think there was a card that was more broken then pyroar or seismatoad ex... o_O
So does 80 with DCE, metal, and Band, or 90 with laser. Its pretty good, but it still kind of loses to pyroar, but they can't use DCE so its acceptable.

Klinklang/Aegislash, the thought just makes me shiver. It would be even more awesome if Shift Gear Klinklang was legal.

In essence, we would have a Pokemon, that has 170HP, that can't be hurt by any Special Energy decks or EX-heavy decks. Do you know what this blocks out? Team Plasma. Most Fairy decks. Landorus Haymakers that have gotten popular. Any deck that NEEDS DCE, so Raichu is out of the question, along with Seismitoad, Flareon, etc. It doesn't help that the attack is actually moderately good. Man, I want to make this deck, RIGHT, FREAKIN', NOW. Scizor Prime showed us how amazing it is to block out Special Energy, and now Aegislash is doing it again.

To be fair, this card isn't THAT broken, since your Opponent can just use Basic Energy to get around, but I do really enjoy this card. It's nice to see that Promo EX's in Japan have gotten a lot more unique. During BW, it was usually [C] [C] [C] does 60, [?] [?] [C] [C] Does a lot with a drawback. But now, they're getting a bit more versatile and interesting, as evidenced by the Kalos Power Tins and Hawlucha-EX. I really appreciate that, and I hope to heaven that Dialga is not butchered.
