We decided to revive this section since it was basically dead. However, to try and get a little more activity in it, we are going to change a few things:
1. Slightly modified guiding questions. For now I'm just posting the new ones in each card's review, below the card. I tried to make the questions slightly more competitively oriented. Furthermore, you're not required to follow them; you can use whatever format you want to review a card as long as you still provide good content.
2. Reviewing cards set-by-set. We'll start off with Noble Victories and probably finish it a little before the 4th BW set is released in English. If we have time in-between sets, I'll go back to previous sets. We won't review most horribly un-interesting cards unless we run out of other cards to review.
3. Multiple types of reviews. Occasionally, I'll do things like having a comparison of two cards in the same day. For example, we could compare Tyrogue and Elekid instead of reviewing them separately. If you have ideas for other types of reviews we could use, please post them in this thread.
4. Compiling all the reviews. I already stickied a thread where I'll link to all the reviews we do. That way, people can find old reviews and read them for ideas or just to pass time. At least to me, it makes it seem like it's less of a waste to spend time reviewing a card when it gets put into a library.
5. Locking old reviews. This is just to prevent new members from getting confused and reviving dead reviews. After a review has been posted for 2 or 3 days, I'll lock it since it's no longer active.
I'll apologize in advance if I miss a day. I probably won't, but I am pretty busy and don't have the best memory. If this does happen, I'll probably do two the next day. Also, the card's image won't be appearing on pokebeach.com like it would before, although we hope to add this feature back eventually.
