Ruling Damage Gain

ok lets say i use a faint attackish technique which states i do 30 damage to sed pokemon if i use plus power and atttack the active pokemon would it do more? or if i have someone like shiftry ex and i use target attack which does 30 or if they have damage counters 50 and i have on my bench xatu, which if i have a stage 2 ex pokemon they gain plus 10 to all attacks to the defending pokemon, would i still get +10 if i attack the active? also would xatu let him gain +10 if i attack a benched since it says defending and not active.

QUESTION RECAP:
1. Plus Power + Feint Attack + Active = ?
2. Delta Xatu + Feint Attack + Active = ?
3. Delta Xatu + Feint Attack + Banched = ?

1. 40 to the active.
2. 40 or 60 to the active depending on if it already had damage.
3. 30 or 50 to the bench pokemon depending on if it already had damage.

So Pluspower, Darkness Energy (special), and Xatu d, only work on active pokemon am i right?

Correct.

Plus power always adds more damage usually by 10 unless you have a misprint but I have not seen a misprinted Pluspower yet.

Its simple. Cards that increase damage usually state themselves whether they increase damage when you hit ACTIVE ONLY or for all. As far as I know, all those cards work ONLY if you hit the ACTIVE pokemon.

Well, Hitmonlee UF is one example of adding damage in general. If it evolved, it can snipe 1 for 30.

Its simple. Cards that increase damage usually state themselves whether they increase damage when you hit ACTIVE ONLY or for all. As far as I know, all those cards work ONLY if you hit the ACTIVE pokemon.

I have the card The reasons I said usually is because the card does say 10 more damage is added to attacks but IF and only if there is a misprint then this is the real damage amount that is why I posted it that way in my last post.
