Damaged Promos in the Sylveon Collection?

So yesterday I was super hyped to finally get my hands on the always-out-of-stock Sylveon Collection box, retailing at $24.99 at my Wal Mart. I oooed and ahhhed over those nice Eeveelution promos and, having just run out of protective sheets for my cards, decided to keep them in the paper fan that they were packaged in, figuring they'd be safe in there, proceeded to open the packs and carried on with my day.

Today I was updating my binders and went to carefully and gently take those promos out of their packaging, and noticed that every single one of them was damaged...the upper-left corners hacked up and bent from where they were packed into that paper fan, and the top edges of Eevee and Jolteon were peeling. The rest of them had nicks in their tops edges from the way they were packed...which I suppose I'm used to at this point. So many ruined tin promos...anyway. Sylveon and the Fairy Energy, being packed separately, fortunately were unharmed.

Did anyone else find that their promos were damaged? It's been suggested that I try and take it back, but I mean...I already opened the packs :/ Needless to say this is a very frustrating situation...I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this happen or if I just happened to pick out the bad one.

Severely... Until TPCI figures out that they should replace their *brilliant* system for holding promos, I'm afraid that promos are going to be damaged a lot. x( If it makes you feel any better, like I said, all of mine were damaged.

Yup, all of mine were damaged too. Umbreon was the worst and it's also my favourite :l

Getting those out without damaging them is almost impossible. They're already damaged when you take the fan thingy out of the box...

I'm glad that was my last English promo box/tin. The Japanese promos are packed sooooo much better.

TPCi quality control is horrible. That was discussed a while back. Nothing has changed. I am locking this thread.
