Hello, i'll make this deck when Phantom Gate comes out soon, so please help me to make it better

Pokemon:

  • - 3 Yveltal EX
    - 2 Darkrai EX
    - 4-1-4 Hydreigon (2-2 Advocacy-Trance)
    - 1 Virizion
    - 1 Yveltal XY
Trainers/Supporters/Stadiums:

  • - 2 Lyssandre
    - 4 Sycamore
    - 2 Colress
    - 3 Skyla
    - 2 N
    - 2 Shauna

    - 3 Muscle Band
    - 1 Computer Search
    - 3 Ultra Ball
    - 4 Rare Candy
    - 2 Starting Megaphone
    - 2 Max Potion

    - 2 Shadow Circle
Energy:

  • - 8 Dark Energy
    - 4 Rainbow Energy

Strategy:
Well, the deck works around Yveltal EX to attack and the utility that the other pokemons bring to him, i hope you can tell me what to modify from it.
i'm thinking on adding a virizion and 2 max potions, but at the cost of the muscle bands or take out the hipnotoxic engine and add the virizion and max pots but and 3 shauna, what do you think?.

Hydreigon – Dragon – HP140
Stage 2 – Evolves from Zweilous

Ability: Dark Advocacy
Once during your turn (before your attack), you may choose 1 [D] Energy from your discard pile and attach it to your Active Pokemon.

[P][D][C][C] Crazy Heads: 130 damage. Discard 1 Energy attached to this Pokemon.

Weakness: Fairy (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 2

Battle Compressor – Trainer
Item (Team Flare Gear)

Search your deck for up to 3 cards and discard them. Shuffle your deck afterward.

You may play as many Item cards as you like during your turn (before your attack).

thx :D

Haven't seen this deck in a while. Have you considered Max Potion? Is the Max Potion tank variant still good this format, or do things just get OHKO'd too easily due to Weakness?

Yes, i think the max pots are good to go in the deck, but i have no room, i need to know what to change. And the weakness of the pokemon that normally battle isn't being played a lot together, (Lightning and Fight) so the max pots are really good, but as i told before, idk what to change for XD

Thanks!!

PD: Sorry if my english is a bit complicated to understand, i'm still learning to use it more frecuently.

It's tough to say. I'm considering suggesting you take out laserbank.

On one hand, lasers are very helpful, and the extra damage is absolutely relevant with Yveltal, making it easier to hit for 170. On the other hand, if you can take hits and Max Potion all the damage off, you're just fine 2HKO'ing things. And it's not like you need lasers to OHKO things. With Dark Advocacy, and conserving your Energies on the field, you could build up enough Energy to one shot things, but you'd have to be careful with other Yveltal and Mewtwo. I might try swapping laserbank for Max Potions and just see how it plays. Otherwise, you might find room for it elsewhere, but playing Max Potion and lasers on top of everything else just sounds like you wouldn't have enough space to do that.

Thanks :D its really helping to have these replys to analize the deck, i hope to test it soon so i can tell you how it is working ;)

Edited to coincide with the rules! :D ~Kecleon

Have fun using your Rare Candy under Item lock. The only way I can see this working is if you buff the Hydreigon line to 4-3-4 and remove Rare Candy. Or you could fit in 2-4 Switch in order to get YveltalEX Active first turn with an attachment. Something like this:

T1- Start Deino, Ultra Ball for YvetalEX, Switch to YveltalEX, use Hypnotoxic Laser, N, attach Darkness energy to YveltalEX, attach Muscle Band to YveltalEX
10 poison damage on Seis
Opp T1- Quaking Punch
T2- Attach DCE to YveltalEX, N, play Virbank City Gym, Evil Ball for 20+100+20
30 poison damage on Seis=KO

It would take a little luck to draw into all that but you'll get a 2HKO on SeismitoadEX at the very least.

I was testing the deck without Laser-bank and if you can build 2 hydreigons (wich is pretty fast) and one darkrai on bench, the deck is practically a cannon! you have so many ways to make things explode, you have the attack of the hydreigons, the defense of virizion and shadow circle, the mobility of Darkrai and Hydreigon (Dark Trance) and the fuel with Dark Advocacy, plus if you use wisely the max potion (i'm currently running 2) you can kill practically anything without risking anything.

More help is always apreciated :D
