• When creating a thread in the Deck Garage, make sure that you post one deck per thread, you use the correct prefix, you have the set name/card number next to each card, you give a strategy for non-metagame decks, and give translations for all cards not available in English.

Standard Dark Marshadow GX Deck Idea/Help

Was thinking about a control shell with Marshadow GX and Sableye along with other Dark type basics like Darkrai EX/GX. Any thoughts on this idea? Worth building? I would start off something like this:

3 Marshadow GX
2 Sableye
2 Darkrai EX
1 Darkrai GX

Would also incorporate Plumeria to get cards in the discard as well as discarding my opponent's energy. Any thoughts? Would love some serious feedback before I actually start building this baby.
 
Why?

If you're running a deck focused on decking out your opponent, why use Darkrai EX? He's only useful as an attacker if you turbo a bunch of energy onto your board, which doesn't seem like your goal.

A deck with plumeria and flare grunts and rocket grunts and Sableye/marshadow to lock your opponent could be good, but why would you bother with the darkrais if you're planning on locking your opponent? If anything, noivern GX would be a better option, because you can lock items for 2 dark energies.

No Darkrai gotcha lol.
 
He gave absolutely no indication of which sableye, except for the fact that he's looking to build a control deck.

So you can either assume:

(A) He doesn't know how rotations work

or (B) He's referring to the newest sableye card.
