Ruling Dark Metal Energy

i'm kinda confuse about this card effect....

ok, my friend uses a rocket's suicune ex in his deck & inside the deck he also has 2 dark metal energy....
since the effect of rocket's suicune ex poke-body dark & clear says that

"As long as Rocket's Suicune ex has any Darkness energy attached to it, Rocket's Suicune ex can't be affected by any special conditions"

so what i'm trying to know is if my friend attach a dark metal energy to rocket's suicune ex, will the effect of the Dark & Clear take place??

Well, it IS a dark energy, so it counts. So does any other Rainbow-type energy that is EX compatible.

ok but the energy only provide either dark or metal energy & it doesn't provide the effect of those 2 energy...
so does the effect of the poke-body take place????

That just means that you don't get the effects of having actual Darkness Energy attached.

As long as any Energy attached to Rocket's Suicune ex provides at least [D], Dark and Clear will trigger.

DarkMetal energy provides D or M energy. Now what that means is that the normal darkness added 10 if you were dark, and metal reduced by 10 is metal. BUT since DME is not darkness or metal, it doesnt get the benefit of the damage alteration. Same thing like the BASIC dark and metal energys coming out.

yes.. it does.. however, it does not add 10 damage, nor remove 10 damage..
